Nakara Long Beach Resort Reviews

This time I was disappointed , not easy to found room , water is very dirty !!!!!!!! Warning!!!!! the signposts are very small, I have to walk around looking for the room number for a long time and often get lost, there are not many amenities in the room, the telephone to contact the front deskis not available in the room. During the stay, due to a problem in the room, I had to walk to the reception, which is quite far away, the water was not clean, the toilet had problems and could not be used, the air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night, but the important thing was that the water was very dirty.

It was a really good hotel overall and for its price. A great pool and beach to walk out to everyday. Very family oriented so if you looking for a party then this is not the place but if you looking for a place to really relax, swim a lot and enjoy the sun then this is the place. One downside would be that a lot of the guests would wake up before the sun was even up to take the deck chairs by the pool and beach. Very annoying to not get seating for the day. The hotel needs to get more chairs by the pool for the guests. Breakfast was good for the first few days but gets monotonous after a while because it’s the same every morning. Overall I enjoyed it and I will be going back. Great area to mission around too if you hire a motorbike.

Absolutely stunning location, you can hear the waves from the seating area out the front of the cute little bungalows at night when the sound of nature takes over. The breakfast was a nice selection of sweet and savoury. The coconut Jam was something else. We usually ate on the beach table area. The rooms were clean, ample for what you'd need, daily replenishment of water and toilet trees. Would suit families, friends' everyone really. Has a lovely home and cosy vibe to it with the vast outside area to explore too. We didn't go in the pool because the beach was more appealing. The pool area looked relaxing though. Staff were always really polite, if you were waiting for a transfer they would chase them up on their own accord! Couldn't fault the stay. Cheap onsite bike rentals too!

Nice place and island, peaceful

Good location

The location is in the middle of Changdao Beach. The room is clean and clean, but there are no disposable items such as toothbrushes and slippers. It may be the off-season and there are not many guests. You can enjoy the swimming pool to yourself. The beach is only a two-minute walk away. The sand is very fine. It's slippery, no one disturbs you when sunbathing, breakfast is relatively monotonous and can be full, comparable to a single stay.

Excellent hotel in the center of a good beach, without ebbs and flows. The rooms are excellent, even the standard, everything is new, well renovated. They clean up well. The breakfast buffet is quite varied. There are many restaurants nearby (the hotel restaurant and massage are a bit expensive) 3 swimming pools. But when they bring boats with Russian tourists from Phuket for a couple of days, all the sun loungers are occupied. Free yoga in the morning. In the evening there is a fire show. In general, the hotel is decent.

Near the sea, convenient, improved breakfast

Great location on the first line! But the hotel needs renovation… Tourist groups come from Phuket from time to time, so it's not very comfortable and calm, as we would like.. Breakfasts are average and monotonous. The hotel can be recommended to budget travelers without claims for service …

The worst bed I've slept, it sunken and towels smell and that's is just the tip of the iceberg. Arrived 8pm and there are no one on the reception. Later on a security guard came and don't speak a single word of English. I have even offered to use google translate however he is not interested and took me to my room. its so creepy as i was travelling on my own without any further information. i was not even offered to fill in any check in details, passport or pay for the room. The next morning 7.30AM I was woken up by construction going on next to my room. they have tons of available empty room and the hotel decided to give me a room next to the one under repair. I walked to the breakfast and the waitress didn't say a word to me and just passed me the breakfast selection. there are 2 tables with other guest but she was standing the furthers away and we are unable to call her. breakfast was terrible and walked off the the front reception, finally there is someone there and wants to collect money from me after i raised the problems. the next word she said to me is would you like to stay one more night?.. i was like your kidding me?! avoid this hotel at all means.

The bungalows is ok . The staff is Nice and helpfull. They are lovely. Breakfast is ok standard. Location is beautiful. But one downside you cant use one if The pools between 9-11 because The yoga instruktor says they cant meditate when children play in the pool. So be quiet or go somewhere else. Luckly there is two more pools. ..

Such a magical place, great staff, clean bungalows and good breakfast. Can’t beat the location and the beach is amazing Only drawback is they allow people to put towels on the pool loungers ant the crack of dawn and hold them all day. Most of the time we spent by the pool the loungers were left empty but had towels on them.

We stayed here in early January. The room was a good size with plenty of storage space (and we don't travel lite),the bathroom was also a good size, we stayed in a luxury bungalow near the beach. There was lots of choice of food at breakfast time including Thai. The staff at breakfast were always checking that the food containers were full, a member of the staff we got talking to was a lovely man called P Lung and he also speaks very good English, he spoke to us most days. We had a few minor problems during our holiday but when we reported them to reception they were dealt with very quickly indeed. I would like to make a constructive comment or two, I think that every pair of sunbeds should have an umbrella with them and also to releive the pressure on the pool near the restaurant (nearly all the sunbeds were taken by 9.00am) more sunbeds and umbrellas could be put around the newer pool as I only counted 9 pairs of sunbeds and 4 umbrellas with lots of unused space. The 7.00am to 7.00pm rule should be strictly enforced. This hotel overall is good value for money but very popular with families with children who some parents allow them to run around and make a lot of noise without telling them to be a little bit more quiet.
