I was lucky enough to take an unforgettable trip to Kochi Prefecture, Japan. Here are my travel thoughts: As a representative attraction in Kochi Prefecture, OMO7 aroused my great interest. This newly opened hotel is not just a simple accommodation facility, but a complex tourist destination integrating accommodation, catering and entertainment. After checking in, I was attracted by the hotel's stylish design and comfortable atmosphere. The hotel's public areas cleverly combine modern minimalist style with traditional Japanese elements to create a unique cultural atmosphere. I tasted delicious local desserts leisurely in the hotel's cafe and felt the leisurely lifestyle of Kochi. There are various activities in the hotel, such as woodwork making experience courses, traditional tea ceremony performances, etc., which allowed me to deeply experience the cultural charm of Kochi. In particular, I participated in a wonderful night event. With the lights and music, I felt like I was in a unique cultural feast. When we first arrived the front desk told us that we reserved a smoking room. In the trip.com booking it does not say so though. The front desk said all similar rooms for non-smoking were booked out. We went up to the room but it smelled so bad that we asked agin for a different room showing them the booking. According to the hotel the booking was not directly forward to them by trip.com but by a different service therefore it varied from our actual booking. They were nice enough to give us a different room which was non-smoking. Unfortunately the room still smelled strange - at least no smoke smell. Additionally there was almost no hot water coming out from the tap. In the photo the hot water was fully turned on. Another issue was the parking. The one night stay fee was 1000 Yen (not for 24h). We checked out at 11 a.m. but decided to eat lunch in town and leave the car at the hotel parking. We took out the car at 2 pm and had to pay an additional fee of 1200 yen.

Staying at the hotel there is a nice lobby lounge with free drinks and sitting for work, chatting, or other activities. Good place to be especially rainy week. Books on shelf to borrow and read too.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is right next to the pedestrian street. It is just downstairs. It is about a five-minute walk from Hongren Market. It is very convenient. There is a Lawson convenience store on the ground floor of the hotel. The hotel has an independent passage to the convenience store without having to step out of the hotel. It is very convenient. After returning to the hotel, you only need to check in with your room card to open the door to the independent passage, which is very convenient. I booked a deluxe double room this time, but the hotel still asked me if I would like two single beds or a king bed. In the end, I answered yes Double bed room, after entering the room, there is the bathroom area first, with dry and wet separation, and then there is a sliding door to enter the room. The room is very spacious, the large bed is very comfortable, in addition to the workbench, there are two small sofas and coffee tables. The big luggage can be opened and there is a passage. I am very satisfied with the hotel.

I stayed here on a solo trip. The location is very convenient for travelling by tram, and it's perfect for travelling to tourist spots or to the airport by express bus, leaving your luggage at the hotel and getting around. The hotel staff were also very kind. The cleanliness was also satisfactory, and it was perfect for a reasonably priced stay mainly for sightseeing. I'd like to stay here again the next time I'm in Kochi.

The room is small but clean. Breakfast is semi-self-service. You can freely eat drinks, staple food, fruits, soups, vegetable salads and some local specialties. You can choose one main dish, which is very good. The only thing I didn't feel good about was the day I checked in. Due to the typhoon and heavy rain, I arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock and it was not the check-in time. I asked the front desk if there was a cleaned room that I could check in first so that I could change my wet clothes. The front desk clerk I checked the computer and said that I could pay 1,000 yen for early check-in. Although the amount was not much, I felt uncomfortable. In the past, when checking in in Europe, if there was a clean room, I would usually give the room card in advance. The hotel follows the rules but lacks human touch

Very convenient location, just opposite to the JR station. We can have a view of JR station from our room. The restaurant - Rita Shokudo, which is not far from the hotel, is super good. The room is standard Japanese size but the room is good in size for 2 persons. About 10 to 15 mins walk to the main shopping street and food market.

It was in the downtown area!! I wanted to go to the famous gyoza stand Yasubei, and after looking into it, I found out it was only a short walk away, so it was super convenient! There were lots of bars nearby, so it was the best place to enjoy Kochi at night!! The hotel felt a bit old, but it was cleaned and well-maintained, so it wasn't a problem!! I'd love to use it again!
