The Suidamakan in the new building where I stayed was very good. It was new so it was beautiful, and it was good that the room was large and the toilet and bath were separate. When I entered the room, the heating was working and I was happy to be considerate of the boiling water in the pot. I was also relieved that the flowers were decorated. However, it is a pity that it was a futon laid on tatami mats instead of beds even though it was a new building built last year. The military chicken pot for dinner was delicious. I was happy that local food was lined up for breakfast. However, the distance to the large communal bath was far away, and there was no wall in the crossing passage from the new building, and it was cold (because it was raining), and the floor was wet and it was difficult to walk. It was a relatively satisfying inn.

It is very convenient because you can go sightseeing on the train street, Hirome Market and Kochi Castle in front of you. It's a little far from Harima Bridge and Kochi Station, but it's within walking distance while sightseeing. It was a bit old but clean and comfortable. There is no large communal bath, but the bath in the room immediately filled with hot water and was able to use it without stress. I felt that breakfast was also better than when I stayed before. It was a pity that I couldn't see Kochi Castle from the room. It was the end of March, but it was essential to wear a mask in the hotel.

I was asked to pick my husband up by car at the airport and stayed. It is located along the national route, it arrives in about 10 minutes and the parking lot is also large and convenient. Is it an interesting structure and the space divided into rooms and banquet halls is large? The front desk is narrow and small. The dining room is once outside and feels like reentry. The guests have a table in the back, but the atmosphere of the Temaeno tavern is good. The dinner was bonito and rice were very delicious. On the 7th floor, the view from the room was good. Just the pillow is peshanko, low and sorry !! The bed was fukafuka, so I want an option for the pillow. I think it would be good if you put multiple. The breakfast was rich. The rolls and fish were delicious, and the handmade caster do pudding was happy.

I went with my daughter. This time I made it French. Appropriate amount. The ingredients from Kochi Prefecture were delicious. Next time, I want to eat Japanese food. I was able to take a bath slowly. You can also use the sauna slowly. I also enjoyed the jacuzzi in the rain. Unfortunately, I couldn't illuminate Kochi Castle due to the rain, but I was able to relax at the hotel. The courtyard wet in the rain was also nice. This time my husband couldn't stay for work reasons, but I felt that only we enjoyed it, so I would like to have a family this time.

The room was small but clean, breakfast was semi-buffet, drinks, staple food, fruit, soup, vegetable salad and some local specialties can be freely eaten, the main dish can choose a, very good. The only thing that didn't feel very good was the day of check-in, because the typhoon had heavy rain, it was 12 o'clock when I arrived at the hotel, and I didn't arrive at the check-in time. I asked the front desk if there was a cleaned room to check in first, so I could change the wet clothes. The front desk clerk checked the computer. It is said that you can pay 1,000 yen for early check-in. Although the amount is not much, it feels uncomfortable. When you check in in Europe, if you have a clean room, you will usually check in with your room card in advance. The hotel works according to the rules but lacks human touch

Because it was all over the city, I was worried about going by car, but it was located along a big road and the parking lot was easy to understand. The parking lot in the building was free and the mineral water was also 1 person 1 service. Kochi Castle, museum, downtown and station are within walking distance. Check out 11:00, so you can walk the next morning. Breakfast is a set of Japanese and Western foods, but it is politely made and the amount is not insufficient. Even if you choose Japanese food, you will have drinks such as coffee. This is happy. It is a coupon in the front lobby and you can receive services at nearby taverns. It was a good hotel that I would like to stay here next time I come to Kochi.

GGuest UserWe were in the area to tour Kochi's sights and sounds, and while Auberge Tosayama is about a 45 minute drive from the city, we had our own car and felt that relaxing in a remote oasis would be better than staying at a bland, large hotel. After staying at this retreat, we felt that we made a good choice. It's a stylish small resort (only 16 rooms total) that blends in nicely with its mountainous surroundings. It has a mostly earthly tone in muted colors that really soothed our soul and made us feel one with nature. The reception area has floor-to-ceiling windows with great views of the lush greenery and rolling hills all around. Our Villa was accessed by crossing the river via a suspension bridge (it's sturdy, not to worry) - an interesting way to get to the room without it being too far to be an arduous task. The Villa itself is one of a few that on the other side of the river, and each are detached units that are reminiscent of a mountain hut. The Villa was tastefully furnished and well appointed. While we generally prefer larger rooms with bedrooms that are separate from the living room, the junior suite-style layout was adequate. Two nits to pick, however. First, no Onsen (natural hot springs) bath in the room, as is the case with many top-end ryokans. Secondly, internet speeds were terrible... that is, if we could even get connected (it was intermittent.) While I understand that the purpose of staying in a place like this is to unwind and disconnect from the civilized world, it would be nice to have the option to get online should we so choose. Oh, one more thing... the nearest electrical outlet is FAR from the only table in the room; we borrowed a long extension cord, but even then, it was literally a stretch for the cable to reach my laptop. At least they have a communal Onsen, which is gender segregated (like 99% of public ryokan Onsen baths) and offers both an indoor and open-air bath. It's not very large, but given the small number of rooms on site, it's doubtful that you'll have to share it with too many people, save for late afternoons (just before dinner) and late mornings (after breakfast and just before check-out time.) Auberge Tosayama's supposed calling card is its food offerings - after all, it has ”Auberge” in its name. We enjoyed the meals, and it's probably as good as it's going to get in Kochi. It won't be on our ”10 best ryokan meals” list, but it doesn't have to be. Not everything was spectacular, but there were a few memorable dishes. The Foie Gras ”Joyo Mushi” was a dish consisting of Foie Gras mixed with grated Yam that was steamed into a ball shape, topped with Uni (Sea Urchin) and doused with Ankake sauce. Even the simpler dishes, including a salad that contained locally-sourced vegetables such as Komatsuna (Japanese Mustard Spinach) and Japanese Turnip was excellent. We were in Kochi after all, so we really wanted to try some of the indigenous dishes... and Auberge Tosayama did a great job introducing us to many lo

Aakio9jpBoth of them are about 5 minutes walk to Kochi Jo castle and Harima and bridge, and there are restaurants such as Hirome market around, and Sunday city is also held on the previous street, and it is convenient as a base for sightseeing. It was a cheap business hotel, but it is clean and you can drink raw beer with welcome drinks, and the cospa is good because it has breakfast.

GGuest UserWe stayed overnight on the tour. Lack of communication between the hotel side and the travel agency! Only the number of guest rooms was informed by the tour operator, and a smoking room was assigned to me, who was smoke-free. The room door and window were opened, and the wind was blown for a small hour, and the deodorant spray was blown to the katen, and the deodorant and the air cleaner were operated all night, and it was scattered 々. IiwaidaThis hotel is located in an alley on the south side of the Enoguchi River. It is a little far from Kochi Station and Tosaden tram stops and the transportation is not so good. The nearest transportation is Nakanohashi or Oitesuji bus stop. I think it takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the Kochibashi tram stop in Tosaden. I stayed in a single room, but the room is a general business hotel. The facilities are small 々 old and the unit bath is small, but the cleaning was well done. The front desk was also polite. Located on the north side of downtown, you won't have to worry about eating. If you go a little south, it is a shopping street in Obiya Town, and there are many restaurants around the hotel. However, unfortunately there is no convenience store nearby, so it may be inconvenient if you want to shop a little. If you are here, you can walk back without any problems even if you spend late in the downtown area. It is recommended for those who want to stay reasonably near downtown.

GGuest UserConvenient and you can walk from Kochi Station and Rimaya Bridge. It is close to the main main street, so it is close to the bus and tram stops. The Sunday market where the city leaves on the road is just going down the street in front of the hotel. Breakfast is bread, yogurt, boiled *, salad, banana. Drinks are milk, juice and coffee. There are several types of bread and it is delicious. The room is small but the bed is large. If you spread one large suitcase, you can't put anything else. There is no outlet in the bathroom. The bed is soft. The correspondence of the reception staff was good.
