We stayed here last night on a Helia cycling tour. We were the only two guests and had a wonderful lunch, wine tasting and excellent 4 course supper with wine all at a reasonable price. A family run business with a focus on only local ingredients . Owners were excellent. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely, comfortable, welcoming hotel in a charming little village in the countryside. You will be warmly welcomed, fed very well and enjoy a beautiful garden, vineyard, green hills and cute cows. Ask for a wine tasting in the beautiful cellar. It is the best wine and it is grown right there next to the house! The hosts are gracious and kind and the rooms are very nice.

What a fabulous place, we were walking across Slovenia and this was a hotel selected by our vendor On Foot Holidays. We happen to be the only ones there that night and they treated us so well. It is beautifully situated with lovely views. We did a wine tasting with Luka and had dinner in their cave restaurant (it was a surprise) under the hotel cooked by the Chef, Luka's dad. Definitely a family business run with love. Hospitality is the name of the game!! We got it in spades!

Un super accueil, des chambres spacieuses et agréables, dans un environnement au top. Nous avons pu participer à une super dégustation de vins proposée par le vigneron. Et en prime un dîner digne d'un gastro. N'hésitez pas à vous poser quelques jours.

Nous avons été accueillis comme des princes et nourris comme des rois. Superbe guesthouse au milieu de la campagne slovène : merci à Herta et Vid (désolée si j'écris mal vos noms) pour votre sens de l'accueil. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, modernes et propres donnant sur un magnifique jardin. Le repas style table d'hôte peut se faire dehors ou dans une magnifique salle aux murs de pierres. Les produits servis sont tous locaux et de saison, sublimés par le chef (ce soir-là, nous avons eu notamment du porc farci aux légumes du jardin, de verrines de fruits rouges des environs). En prime, on a goûté au schnaps d'acacia maison, offert par nos hôtes. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et gourmand : pains, charcuteries, fromages, yaourth, strudels, jus de fruits frais,... Un vrai moment de bonheur dans un calme absolu. On reviendra je l'espère !

Fabulous! Great hospitality and friendly hosts. The wine tasting and food were worth staying there. Right in the middle of wine region. Rooms and apartments, cater to cyclists too. Beautiful location and all locally sourced food and wines.

Appartement super, petit déjeuner excellent, repas le soir possible, 1 seul menu que des produits locaux, très bon, avec dégustation de vin, ils sont associés à une très bonne cave dont je vous conseille de visiter

We stayed here for 1 night as part of a cycling trip in Slovenia but would happily have stayed longer. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower good. The husband and wife team who run it are very friendly, interesting and helpful. We ate a delicious 4 course meal, prepared with local produce and wines for a very reasonable price. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

Truly very friendly reception. Nice and very clean rooms. About 5km from Stanjel. The food is excellent. Freshly made 3 course menu. Excellent wines from the neighbourhood. Beautiful view over the valley. Een absolute aanrader. De top.!!
