The location was good, the amenities were plentiful, and it was a comfortable stay. The baths were designated for men and women at designated times, but the large communal bath was clean. The breakfast was also satisfying with a wide variety of options. The staff were all very friendly. One thing that bothered me was that although it was a non-smoking room, it was an old building and there was a bit of a cigarette smell permeating the room. I would like to use this hotel again.

It was a hotel that I wanted to stay once since I was a Kofu Fujiya Hotel. The name changed from April 2019. The building is very old and the door of the room is not automatically locked, so it needs to be locked every time. Many people come as couples. 石和温泉の宿の中で、最近我が家のお気に入りの宿です。 最近、石和温泉のパンフレット(HELLO ISAWA)に古柏園の社長さんのインタビュー記事があり、興味深く読ませていただきました。 107畳もあった宴会場を個室が並ぶ食事処に生まれ変わらせたなど、新たな時代のスパツーリズムを試みておられるとの事です。 館内リニューアル(リフォーム)もされているとの事で、今回来てみたら、また変わってました。 部屋は多分以前は和室だったと思わる部屋が洋室になり、ベットと椅子と小さいテーブルがありました。 ベッドがあってもそんなに狭くなく座布団もあり、和室風にも使える部屋でした。 しかし、木のベッド台のへりがマットレスより二周り位大きくて、足をぶつそうで、気をつけました。 電源を探していたら、後から気がついたのですが、新しいベッドの背もたれの上に電気のプラグがありました。 テレビは大きく、ユーチューブが見れます。鍵二本も便利です。 また大浴場の脱衣洗面エリアが、以前は昭和レトロの雰囲気でしたが、リニューアルされました。化粧水なども完備されています。 男女入れ替え制のお風呂の方は以前と同じですが、内風呂の両側に窓があり、広い大浴場です。 翌朝6時過ぎに露天風呂に入ったら、山々のあいだから日の出を拝めました。 7階にあるお風呂の休憩所からも近隣山々と、南アルプスの山々が見渡せます。 夕食は個室風のお食事処にでいただきました。 見た目も美しく、一つ一つ運ばれる美味しい料理に、つれあいも「年に2回位来てもいい宿だなぁ。昔とは全く違う。」と、親と来たという何十年前も前と比べて話していました。 今回も石和温泉BYOで、持ち込み料1000円で、山梨ワインフルボトルを持ち込みましたが、こちらでは山梨ワインフルボトルが2530円からでリーズナブルでした(ハーフは1540円から)。 それならわざわざ持ち込まなくても良かったね。」と話しました。 デザートの求肥イチゴムースは、食べたことないスイーツで美味でした。 なお、今回の食事にはローストビーフも鳥の水炊きもあったので、沢山食べる方も満足するメニューと思いました。 朝食バイキングですが、夕食時の個室風の部屋でいただきます。 バイキング時に、係の方がお盆やビニール手袋を渡してくれて、また係の方が常にいて、バイキングでも食べ物エリアがキレイで、気持ち良く食事ができます。 牛すじ煮込みがトロトロでした。またビビンバ丼があり、いろいろのっけました。 フルーツは4種類あり、朝からプチケーキでコーヒーを飲み、部屋にもコーヒーを持ち帰りました。 朝食後に、ふとお庭を見ると、お庭も以前よりキレイになっており、大きな華やかな鯉が池(人口滝あり)で泳いでました。 最後に、部屋の鍵のタグ(鍵番号が書いてある)が小さくて、鍵かどこかに紛れ込んで、見つからなくなったことがありました(後から見つかりましたが)。鍵についているキーホルダーは大き目が良いと思われました。 古柏園は最近来る度に進化していますが、以前の良さも残っています。 また季節を変えて、泊まりに来たいです。

We were staying at hotel Nizi for 2 nights for our trip to Kawaguchiko and nearby area. It's about 15-20 minutes drive to Lake Kawaguchiko which is very convenience for us. The neighborhood and surrounding areas are very beautiful with plum plantations and sakura blossoms. Each room at hotel Nizi has a parking space next to the room which was great. There are few restaurants nearby, 7-eleven and gas station. The price was really cheap compared to other hotel in Kawaguchiko. The room is quite spacious and has everything we needed i.e. microwave, minibar fridge, kettle, bowl and cutlery etc. Our room has nice view of plum tress and mountain view.

We enjoyed the gorgeous fuji view from the room which was exactly the same as the photo we saw online. The hotel provided free warm packs and snacks in the lobby which was caring. There were also welcoming snacks in the room. However, as far as we know, the hotel provides free shuttle service to/from Kawaguchiko station but it was disappointing that there were no way to book online. I tried to contact the hotel directly via email but received no response from them. Eventually, we took a bus from Kawaguchiko station and walked up the hill with our luggages, which was very inconvenient. Besides, the dinner style/menu was only available at dinner time so we couldn’t take it into consideration when we decided the date of our stay. Other than the above, the overall experience was nice with high CP value.

This lovely hotel (its a bit dated, but everything is clean and very nice) is right on the lake, and very quiet. Its 10 minutes driving distance from the Kawaguchi-Ko bus stand/train station and there is a free hotel shuttle every hour. I would definitely go for rooms with a view - either of the lake, or of Fujisan. We went for rooms with lake view, and very much enjoyed it. The rooms are big and very comfortable, with a desk, an armchair and a sofa. There is also a small balcony, with amazing views of the lake. Its so peaceful, especially in the early morning or during sunset. The hotel is located in a large garden. There is an indoor and lovely outdoor onsen, where you can bath in the warm water whilst seeing bamboo and hearing birds. Breakfast is a good buffet. The restaurant for dinner is rather expensive, so i would recommend eating in one of the few restaurants in the small town.

Our room has Mount Fuji view, which is really nice :) - the two pictures below were taken in the room. We also enjoyed our dinner and breakfast at the hotel! The shabu-shabu dinner allowed us to order unlimited beef, pork and veggies within 90 mins, and the hotel offers buffet breakfast with great variety of food and drink choices. The hotel is close to both the bus stop 4 and the bus stop 6 of red/purple/green lines, so depending on where one plan to go, one can get on/off at either bus stop, with a few minute walk from the hotel. (For example, it took us about 15 mins to walk from hotel to the cable car station.) The staff there are really friendly, with excellent services - a big thank to them! There are two onsen areas at the hotel - one in the main building and another in the annex building. We went to the main building one, but it was a bit small and quite crowded, so the hygiene there was suboptimal. This is the only minor thing that we wish that the hotel could do better. All in all, our stay was wonderful :)

An absouloute 10/10 hotel for this price is amazing, Fuji q highland is literally next to it and they give you discounts to enter the amusement park if u get at the hotel is way cheaper, the service is really good, the receptionist are very nice, they speak good English for a japenese, also if u arrive before the check in time they will help u put the luggage at ur room that u are staying at when it is ready. Food is exceptional u get a 4 star hotel buffet if u stay at the hotel as an optional the food is amazing, if ur room is at the 4th floor is just a 30 sec walk very close. The hot spring is amazing included with towels and lockers. The room experience is amazing they provide u with a massive shower place for a hotel and an amazing bathroom washroom essentials. They also include u with a massage chair that is really comfortable. 10/10 experience Absolutely recommend to stay
