We visited in September, and the hotel was practically empty, with only our two rooms occupied. Upon arrival, we received an upgrade to a higher room category. The hotel was clean, the staff polite, the beach excellent, and the rooms spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. The breakfast was the same for all three days, possibly because there were only four guests staying at the hotel.

The room was clean and the air conditioning was perfectly cool. The beach right in front of the hotel was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious.

A charming little hotel with a fantastic location. It has its own small private beach with sun loungers and a shower. It's quiet at night, and the street with bars and shops is just a 5-minute walk away. The staff are lovely and very responsive. There's a pool on the 4th floor with breathtaking sea views. The rooms are spacious and clean, and they were cleaned upon request. We received fresh water every day. We absolutely loved the breakfasts, especially being able to enjoy them with a sea view. I would gladly come back here!

Mam Kai Bae Hotel – Fantastic Location and Great Service. We had a wonderful stay at Mam Kai Bae Hotel. It’s a very cozy and welcoming place that exceeded our expectations! Location: Perfect! It's right in the heart of Kai Bae. Only a 5-minute walk to the beach. There are many restaurants and 7-Eleven shops nearby, which is very convenient. Cleanliness: The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. Staff: The staff is very friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Facilities: The swimming pool is a great bonus — clean and refreshing. Summary: Excellent value for money on Koh Chang. Clean, quiet, and close to everything. Highly recommended!

Wonderful hotel, fantastic beach. It's really convenient to stay on the 4th floor here, as it has direct access to the rooftop pool.

A very charming hotel. The rooms are huge, breakfasts are good, and the staff is responsive. We had a Deluxe room on the 3rd floor with a fantastic view of the jungle, the sound of birds, and the ocean waves. I highly recommend it. Kai Bae is the most beautiful beach. The only downside is that the sea recedes quite a bit and has rocks at the bottom. However, directly in front of the hotel, there are hardly any rocks.

Wonderful hotel with excellent service. The sea view is stunning, and the beach is clean. The entire area is well-maintained, and rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfasts are good. This is the best beach on this part of the island. The staff are friendly and helpful. Many guests return multiple times. The rooms are simple but have everything you need and are always clean.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The resort is located right on the beautiful Kai Bae Beach. Breakfast was generous and good. Unfortunately, the bed was very hard and the rooms were very noisy. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Excellent value for money! The hotel is practically on the beach with its own private area, plenty of available sun loungers, and not too crowded. The breakfast wasn't very diverse, but it was tasty and filling. The staff were all very polite and friendly. There's also a pool on the 4th floor with a wonderful ocean view. Overall, I liked almost everything about it.

Amazing location right at the beach and walking distance to many places. Staff is very active and super helpful. Breakfast is ok. Swimming pool is refreshing and not crowded. Rooms are a bit old but overall not bad.

Friendly staff and clean rooms

The location is excellent. The sea recedes far at low tide, but there's a clear entry point across from the hotel, free of rocks and coral. Coral reefs are to the left and right, and in good weather, we snorkeled and watched the fish. A street with numerous cafes is within walking distance. Breakfast at the hotel is monotonous; only toast, butter, and jam are available for tea. The coffee from the coffee machine is not tasty. There's no hairdryer in the room (you have to borrow one from reception and return it).

The area was very secure and quiet. Amenities and towel changes were also done properly. The hotel is beachfront, and the deck chairs are in the shade of some trees, making it a relaxing place to unwind. There is an infinity pool on the 4th floor, and I was very satisfied being able to enjoy the sunset while swimming in the pool.

A stunning hotel! The room was quite clean (we had VIP 3). Breakfasts were delicious and varied. The staff was very friendly! They answered any questions, even those they didn't have to. The hotel actually has its own private beach, with its own sun loungers in a fenced area. The staff cleans both the beach and the grounds every day, which was a pleasant surprise and delight! The hotel itself is also clean and decorated in a fun eco-style. It's very conveniently located in a quiet spot, yet the nearest shop and restaurants are just 5-6 minutes away. In my opinion, this is the most convenient location on the entire beach. At the other end, elephants are walked every day; you can come up and take photos. This was our first time on this island and we were very impressed! Thank you for such hospitality! Definitely a 10 out of 10!
