Coral Bungalows Reviews

Stayed at coral bungalows back in 2017 and it has remained mostly the same. I chose a room with AC however the AC wouldn’t work most of the time which is annoying as I paid extra for this, I also didn’t have a AC remote for most of the first day and had to ask a couple of times to get this. The toilet was also leaking at the base so there was alway a puddle at the base of it. The door handle was broken which didn’t matter to me but may for others. The food at coral bungalow is very good for the price and I highly recommend eating there. It has a nice pool and it’s also right next to the sea. You get very good sunsets here. I would stay again despite the room situation.

Attractive price and location, swimming pool, that's where the positives end. It’s a bit dirty, there’s no free drinking water, the furniture and plumbing are shaky. They take a deposit of 300 Baht for the key and then give it back.

Budget stay within walking distance of the center. Employees speak poor English and we found the service mediocre. During our 3 night stay we did not once have clean towels, new toilet paper or cleaning of the beds. Beautiful on the beach and lots of interaction with other tourists, nice atmosphere.

The location is fantastic, it couldn't be better. The staff is a bit overwhelmed due to their system, but bearable with calmness. The location ensures absolute relaxation and therefore a feeling of well-being

On the plus side, I would like to note the swimming pool overlooking stunning sunsets and a good restaurant. But the rooms leave much to be desired... Dark, no refrigerator, cleaning upon request every three days, so there is an invasion of ants. To get toilet paper and shampoo gel you need to go to the reception, where towels are changed.

This hostel has the Original Pool Party at Coral Bungalows is a must. A great party. Also within walking distance (10-15 mins) of Haad Beach which is the Full Moon party beach. Decent pizza and rooms are spacious and looked after. Good place to stay during lead up to Full Moon Party.

We are here at the moment. Staying 4 nights total. Very good value for money. The location is great, by the beach. About 15 minute walk from Haad Rin where Full moon party happens. Nice bars near by, shops. Majority of customers young people from all around the world. The room was basic but clean an nice. Very good value for money. Lovely own terrace to sit in. The hotel staff is super friendly and good service. Lovely hotel dogs too. Pool area very nice. Restaurant is ok, serves variety kinds of foods and drinks. Travel agency on site where you can book tours, scooters etc. It was very quiet on peaceful for first few days but when people started to arrive for Fullmoon Party the nights were difficulty sleep since the Brit youngsters were shouthing and partying in front of the rooms rather staying in pool area or the beach. Hope the staff would remind guests that there are places where you can stay and party 4am in the hotel area other than in front of other peoples bungalows and rooms.

The place to stay in Haad Rin, from the staff to the sunsets absolutely great place to stay, by far our favourite place we’ve stayed in Thailand, and that’s because of the staff. Soul the manager was an absolute legend, from advice on how to stay safe at the full moon, and also then helping us out of trouble when we had a wallet taken. Drove us to our next hotel, and told the new reception what had happened so we could get to a police station. The same applies for the rest of the staff, with them all being outgoing, smiley and working so hard to make us all happy. The accommodation itself is generous with large rooms for a cheap price, and nice and cool with two fans and AC. The pool and the scenery is beautiful, and can’t be beaten for value. Food too is very cheap, 60 baht a meal, and very good too. If i return to Haad Rin, I’ll make sure to go to coral bungalows. Thank you

Firstly the hotel was nice and clean however the staff were very rude. Upon arriving we were told we had 2 bottles of water a day, then on our last day we were denied water (you had to get everything yourself from reception as they did not have anyone clean the rooms daily) we rented a bike but it cut out just outside the hotel going up a very steep hill, we took the bike back straight away and we’re completely ignoredat reception, they made us stand there for ages until my boyfriend had to ask a different person for his passport back. Later we saw 2 other people with the same bike. My boyfriends t-shirt was stolen at the pool. The location was awful there was nothing to do, you had to drive through steep jungle roads to get anywhere. The hotel is right next to the full moon party so I think it would be a decent place to stay to go there, if not don’t bother

The worst experience ever! They never clean the tables or anything. Do not go there, customer service is terrible. They are so rude and everthing is extremely dirty. We all got stomach ache and felt terrible. I would avoid it at all costs. The rooms smelled terrible, they did not offer us towels neither toilet paper.
