Smile House - Fisherman Village Reviews

Beautiful and decorated hotel in a great location inside the heart of the Fisherman village. Rooms are large, well-equipped and with high maintenance level. All of the staff had been very nice and efficient in fulfilling our needs. Breakfast was tasty, rich and in great location over the beach. On the other hand, we could overhear music from a nearby club until 11 pm inside our room, but it was not too disturbing (except one night which it was), and since the place is widespread, I guess this may not happen to all rooms.

Best value for money accommodation The swimming pool is very nice. deep and large swimming pool The garden is beautiful. It's good for a walk. Because there are so many trees, there are also many bugs. Still, I recommend this place as it is very satisfactory for the price.

Wonderful hotel, separate houses on the seashore, friendly staff, clean and beautiful.

This is a beautiful resort. We stay at a villa with enough space for a family to move around. Swimming pool is big. We do not feel it crowded, even with other guests in the pool. Very convenient location to reach the beach on foot. Nice Thai design and rich breakfast choices.

We were recommended Smile House by a relative and it didn’t disappoint - the location is superb, our villa was very comfortable and apart from a sink in the open plan seating area, had everything we needed. The grounds and 2 pools were kept clean and gave a lovely/ peaceful feeling to the place. Breakfast was excellent, although a little limited if you left it too late. It would have been useful if we had been able to get a third key to our villa but we managed ok with 2 and we were very appreciative of being able to use the room until 1pm on the day we left. The only negative comments are 1)the gardeners were a little too open with their throat clearing habits, something that should be addressed especially when they are near the villas (the person we saw was sat on the steps of the villa next to us and so loud we thought someone was being sick) and 2) the restaurant staff weren't very helpful and friendly. Despite these points we would thoroughly recommend Smile House to anyone who is looking for a convenient and well maintained hotel in Bophut Fisherman's Village.

Perfect stay in a great location in Bophut. Set in beautiful gardens and peaceful from the outside hubbub of Bophut. The room was big and very comfortable, a large balcony with lovely comfy chairs. The swimming pools were also very nice hidden away in this little oasis. Would definitely return.

Great position in the middle of the fisherman village, not much traffic. Lots of shops and restaurant nearby. Very nice bungalows and beautiful gardens. Food at restaurant is good but they put an extra 17% on top of the price in the menu card for service and tax. But they then give you 15% of if you are staying at the resort. Some staff in the restaurant are not very friendly. Good breakfast buffet and very good coffee. Nice and clean beach.

We stayed in the superior bungalows, which were very nice, both pools are really good, the garden is picturesque and is manicured beyond belief, I've never seen so many gardeners in one place. The location is absolutely perfect right slap bang where you want to be in this heat 35+degs, you are there everything in touching distance, from reception , beach, bars, restaurants and even the markets. Great time great place give yourself 3 days here. Where do they get there 🌟 system from min four 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 plus staff very happy and friendly

Just stayed at Smile for 5 night rooms clean aircon not the best. Close to many restaurants tried most of them no negative for any of them. Restaurant to smile is beach side so stunning view each morning. Breakfast average. Good idea split your trip stay Fishermans 4 or 5 nights then another àrea. Staff friendly.

Wow!! Where to start.... staff amazing, we booked the three bedroom apartment and we were not dissapointed, huge rooms, each with ensuite, bath and shower. Living room big, comfy with TV, Wifi and aircon throughout. Fresh sheets, beach and bath towels supplied by 6am each morning on you balcony along with 6 bottles of water daily. Rooms were cleaned when you put the sign on and were immaculate. Staff were so respectful and friendly. The apartment had a full size fridge which was great. Breakfast was included....this was until 10.30am and there was a wide selection available. The in house resturants were fab and the views amazing. You could enjoy lunch/dinner by the sea or order takeaway (food and drinks) to the pool or to your apartment. Pools were great, never an issue to get a bed for the four of us, most days we were the only ones there. Pools heated, clean and all areas in great condition. The hotel is in the heart of Fisherman's Village with so many lovely places to go to. Local shops and laundry services are very cheap. I honestly could not fault this hotel, we are a family of 4, with two boys ages 15 and 12.... they loved this place as did we. All trips were super organised and we were picked up and dropped off at the door. Would highly advise the elephant sanctaury and the boat trip to pig island. I have already told people how amazing this pace is and if you are in Koh Samui you need to stay. 10/10!!
