The hotel is suitable for those who value location, very close to the center. But the hotel is very old, I did not like the breakfasts. Cocktails at the bar are not tasty, the staff at the bar does not know English.

We stayed at a beachfront hotel with only 2 rooms.
There was a beach bar next door, so every day there was loud music and drunk noise until after 1am.
The male staff were very considerate, but the female staff were unfriendly and terrible. In particular, the pink room key was always missing, and we had to ask for it before they would give us the amenities.
The hotel's location was great, but even though it was a beachfront room, access to the pool and restaurant was complicated.
Breakfast had a limited variety, and there wasn't even an egg stand. The food was worse than that of a lower-class hotel.
We won't be staying here again.

It's cute and in a good location in front of the sea.
However, the shower pressure is so weak that it's unusable, and the water drainage is so poor that the shower room floods immediately, so it's not suitable for long-term stays. I felt I could barely survive two nights. The pool and other amenities are small and nice, so it's a bit of a shame. The quality of the towels etc. is not good. There are no slippers. But overall, considering the price, I guess it can't be helped! Other than the shower, I'm pretty satisfied!

We lived in a simple room - the room was dark, with the exception of a glass sliding door, which must be covered with curtains so as not to live in an aquarium. The rooms are cleaned mediocrely, when we checked in they didn’t even remove the swimsuit from the previous residents. It is impossible to live in the room without an air conditioner; it smelled of something, and the air conditioner was directed directly at the bed. It’s good that we only spent 24 hours there. The location of the hotel is excellent - close to the shopping center and nightlife. Breakfast is good, the sea and sunset are excellent. Dogs are running along the beach in the morning.

We booked 10 nights at Al’s Resort for a more than fair price (€180 p.p) with an offer found on Trip.
Before booking, we looked at the reviews of all the hotels in Samui, including this one. In view of the comments and the ratings given for this hotel, I can't hide my fear before arriving... The comments were either disastrous or brilliant so I would like to put things in order...
On a positive note I would say the location first, it all depends on the vacation you are looking for, if you want to be close to bars, clubs, restaurants, shopping centers etc... the location is by far one of the best we have observed. The beach, a rather large and clean beach with a small beach bar with lovely staff (again one of the best beaches we have seen in front of a hotel). The swimming pools, clean and really nice not too big not too small. The staff more than welcoming and helpful, day and night. The bedding was comfortable, the room was clean when we arrived (I would like to point this out in view of some comments). Beach towels are available to us on the restaurant side, which is really practical.
Concerning the negative points, I would say the mid-stay cleaning which is not included and unfortunately there is no cleaning facilities in the room which poses a problem especially with the sand… The bathroom side, it lack of towel racks, in fact, there is only one which is complicated when there are two of us with bath towels, beach towels… The air conditioning which is a little doubtful, it works very well but complicated to adjust it and water came out of the air conditioning which soaked all our belongings (but nothing serious, it's water lol)
To conclude, for 10 days with a total of 360€ the value for money is by far one of the best in Samui. This hotel is honestly very good and I think we will stay here again if we ever come back. I repeat but it all depends on the vacation you are looking for, if calm (despite the noise being minimal) is your priority do not linger here on the contrary if you want to be close to everything with a limited budget and simple assets like a pretty swimming pool , beautiful beach here is the perfect place.
