Coral View Resort

We had two reservations for different room types, and in this review, I'll focus on the Hillside Cabin. We got the very last one, the furthest away. It was fine walking down to the beach, but climbing back up was tiring. Going up once or twice a day wasn't a big deal, but you wouldn't want to do it more than that. The air conditioning and fan worked well. There's no TV in the cabin, and we could hear road noise, so it must run somewhere behind the cabins. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, but there was always hot water. There was a constant breeze in the bay, which made the heat more bearable. Overall, it's a good hotel, and the convenient transfer to Sairee for 100 baht per person is great for one or two travelers.

We stayed in a triple room. It had everything we needed. Breakfast was included. While there wasn't a huge variety, you'd find something to eat (scrambled eggs, rice, meat, greens, fruit). The staff were friendly and ready to help if needed. The beach was nice. We went when the waves were high, so snorkeling wasn't really an option. There were small sharks swimming near the shore.

Really loved it here. There's a lovely lounge area near reception with games and sea views. The beach is the liveliest I've seen in Thailand, with lots of schools of fish swimming around. The breakfast buffet is rich and delicious. The bungalows are cozy, each with a balcony and comfy sofas.

I liked it. My wife saw a turtle, but I wasn't so lucky. The transfer was a reasonable price.

The hotel is located in a bay with incredibly rich underwater life. The rooms are spacious, clean, with a very comfortable mattress and pillows of varying firmness. Breakfast was excellent and varied, offering both European and Asian dishes. Housekeeping was daily. We were very satisfied with the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the 'Chalet.' It was right on the beach, but be careful as the beach is very rocky and has a lot of coral. Water shoes are highly recommended! Dinner was delicious and freshly cooked. The hotel is quite secluded and the terrain is very steep. You'll need to take a taxi or the hotel's shuttle service to get to the town center. Riding a scooter there is very risky. Overall, we really liked it.

Excellent quiet hotel, very atmospheric, for a small price. The bay is not bad, lots of fish). Tasty breakfasts. The only downside is there's no fresh water at all on the beach, you can't even rinse your feet.
