The Place Luxury Boutique Villas

A brilliant stay! Guy and Ksenia were very helpful throughout and made perfect hosts. The Villas are simply incredible, you feel immersed in the jungle whilst being a 15 min walk to the beach. The pool was lovely, lots of wildlife, eco-friendly, I couldn’t fault it. Would definitely return!

It’s in the title - luxury villas. This villa exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by its beauty and tranquility. Guy, who owns and runs the villa was a great host - he showed and gave me a whole run down of the villa which also included a booklet with food spots to eat or that deliver, where to snorkel and what the island offers. The bathroom was incredibly spacious and designed like a mini beach—it felt like a luxurious escape within the villa itself. The infinity pool was another standout feature, offering stunning views and a perfect place to relax. I also appreciated the complete privacy; it truly felt like a secluded paradise. The entire villa was spacious and you won’t be short of places to lounge around. Every aspect of my stay was perfect, and I can't wait to return. You can also hire scooters through the villa (definitely needed for Koh Tao) Highly recommend!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Those were the only words out of my mouth when we arrived at our villa. Seriously, no photos can really capture the beauty of this place. We have stayed in many luxury hotels, and I would pick these villas again any day. It's not often that I am in awe of my surroundings, but this place did it for me. I normally choose oceanfront properties, but I really loved that the villas were up in the hills. The view with the lush greenery and flowers all around was just stunning! The villas felt very private, like we had the island to ourselves, but also close enough that when we passed through the gates, we were right in the heart of town. Guy was an outstanding host. He has really perfected hospitality and thought of everything you could want. My biggest recommendation is to rent a scooter! I wouldn’t have wanted to walk up that hill everyday in the heat. It may seem intimidating to drive a scooter on that island but it is very easy and driving around the island ended up being our favourite this to do. Besides relaxing in our private pool of course.

The resort is on the edge of town set high up in the tree line. Walking distance to town downhill but you will need transport back up! It's a superb place to stay and once inside your own villa you really don't notice anyone else or any other villa. The view is spectacular, the villas are clean and tidy and the host is very responsive and helpful. It really is a wonderful place to stay away from the huslte and bustle of the village but within easy reach.

This is our second trip to The Place and we couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else on Koh Tao. Guy and team have made the perfect ‘place’. It’s a quiet haven with sea views for sunset right from your villa. In the time between visits some enterprising drivers have set up on WhatsApp, a quick message night or day gets you picked up and taken to the beach or collected and driven back to your villa for less than the price of a cocktail. Just book it, you won’t be disappointed!

If you’re looking for spectacular views and quiet luxury with a private pool in your villa, you found it. The Place is close to town but far enough away to avoid all the noise, and hustle and bustle of the main road. If you don’t feel like driving, the selection of delivery restaurants The Place provides was perfect. Guy and the staff were amazing hosts and treated us like family. We couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon!

Really amazing experience staying here. The view, the room, the staff were all just simply amazing. Really recommend staying here when in Koh Tao! Guy the owner is very kind and helpful, cannot do enough for you.

My wife and I spent one week of our honeymoon in Koh Tao. The Place was with out a doubt the best spot we have every stayed at in our 35 years of live. The staff is remarkable, the views are unmatched.

Very attentive staff, beautiful views from the hillside in a jungle setting. Definitely rent the scooter from Guy to get around. Close enough to the beach and far enough away from the crowds. We visited in the wet season so there were mosquitoes. If you come at this time, make sure purchase insect repellent. The room was well appointed with large comfortable bed and amenities.
