Majestic Sea View Resort

Nothing like what the photos or description suggested. The reception looked like a small landfill site and stank of rotting flesh… we waiting for about 20 mins for anyone from “reception” to come and check us in. The lights in the room didn’t work, the bed felt like a plank of wood, wifi didn’t work, the bathroom was a botch job, water came out of the tap from every angle and the fly screen on the window had holes in which were patched together with toilet roll. Left shortly after our arrival.

I chose this hotel because in the photos it shows a nice balcony with nice sea view. However, I was immediately disappointed on arrival. The hotel is high deep in the jungle area and there is no reception. When I arrived I was lost, then only when I’m about to leave, a boy showed up to give me key to the room. The hotel is dirty, toilet paper looks dried up from being soaked before and it keeps dropping on the floor because of the broken handle. the shower room still has some dried barks from somewhere. What’s worse is that there is absolutely no room cleaning. I stayed for 3 days and no cleaning. On the second day I texted the hotel for cleaning and they don’t reply and don’t clean. The bed duvet is torn, the bed still has sand. Everyday I had to go out the whole day, try to get myself a good shower from beach clubs and only go home to sleep. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We really enjoyed this stay. It's a beautiful place by the sea. It also has a wonderful garden with lots of charming flowers and a huge mango tree. It looks like paradise. We'll definitely be back.

There were ants and dirt everywhere in the room
