Stunning scenery looking out from this hotel. The place wad huge and clearly hosts a mass of meetings etc. The room was a good standard (size & decor) Ice cold water free and on tap. Good coffee available free from machine, also instant in rooms. Breakfast selection decent! Took a stroll down to nearby waterfront. What a beautiful place!

We took Flexibus to Middelfart from Copenhagen for a change, the bus drop off point is only 300 meters away to the hotel. Fantasitic harbour and bridges views from hotel terrace. We have had our best time in Denmark biking along the water having rented bikes from hotel reception. Middelfart is kind of a city where you can get relaxed and be free from affliction, Severin hotel experience is definitely a tip of an ice cream, most desired and pleasant. Strongly recommended.

I have been here several times and was satisfied again. The breakfast was a little reduced, but it has to be accepted because of the pandemic. Now you do not longer have to pay extra for in room wifi. It is also faster than before. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the highway and there are easy to find a place to park the car. However, the hotel covers a big area and some of the rooms are far from the reception/restaurant/eating areas. The surroundings are also very boring.

Stayed for 1 night in a junior suite with 5 beds. Beds were comfortable and these rooms have air conditioning which was needed in June. Didn't sleep great, but the family did. My sleep was impacted by jet lag and not the comfort of the room. The washrooms are modern and have good water pressure. Like every other hotel we stayed at in Scandinavia, showering resulted in water on the floor outside of the shower stall. Hotel is well located in the middle of Denmark for a trip to Legoland Billund. We could open up the patio door to the terrace, beyond which were cows grazing in the field. Disappointed to have just missed the opening hours of the pool. Reception should have informed us when we checked in of the pools hours. There is a nice playground between the hotel and the swimming hall. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

As we payed a upgrade to the second floor, I can o ly say that the standard room miss several things which we would miss. The second floor room was prefect with everything one could need. The restaurant is quite expensive and with few food elections. Whatever the lobby bar has some good tasting sandwiches etc... You come by car, as bus connections to Vejle is non existing. The surroundings offer nice forrest walks. The reception a little distancing, but OK. Our reservation over Booking com was disgusting. Their ”machine ” did not have the least understanding for a visa cart problem. 2 days before our comming, they told us the reservation for 4 days definitely was canceled 🤬 Never again through booking com.

The hotel is a bit off. Quiet. There is a free large parking lot suitable for self-driving tours. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Can solve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel also has a small bar. The room is large. The sofa can be turned into a bed. Driving from the hotel to Billund Lego is about thirty minutes, which is convenient. Will consider staying next time.

I was utilising Vejle as a base to visit Christianfeld and Jelling and using this hotel for a one night stay. The hotel proved to be great value and I was impressed. My sleep quality was great (very quiet, comfy bed) and it is two minutes walk from the Trafficcenter, allowing a quick exit. The room was a decent size and although minimalist still had coffee making facilities. The breakfast might do with a little improvement but overall I was very happy with my stay.

Hotel rooms are all right and the hotel is well located on the port front. But the experience with the staff at the check-in was so miserable that I can only give one star because of it. After my booking, I had contacted the hotel in writing about a double bed room and a baby bed. Between was immediately confirmed and assured us. On the site I made a self-check on the computer and there was also a note about baby bed. The room had only two separate single beds and there was no baby bed ready. Then I contacted the reception and I was told that I should push the beds together. That would be the double bed that I was assured. This was an impossible option for us with baby, which once is between us at night. Alternatively, a room upgrade for almost DKK 400 with “right” double bed. And the baby bed should I pay extra per night with 100 DKK, “if any one is available at all”. That everything was written in advance and I had no reference to additional fees was completely ignored. Instead of excuse, I was treated extremely unfriendly and then I had to pay the baby bed extra. A subsequent complaint to the hotel manager was also completely ignored and replied by the same receptionist (Metteliva). I have never had to make such a terrible service experience and therefore no one can recommend the hotel anymore. At last, you pay much more than you get communicated in advance. Other hotels in Denmark were better and friendly over time

JJavaMama58The hotel is very well located across from the train station, a quick easy 10 min walk to the town center and many restaurants and walking distance to Koldinghus. They have underground secure parking. We booked 2 rooms with courtyard views (not really much of a view) looking at private apartments in the same complex and roofs. Its not a noisy town so would not pay the higher price for the courtyard views. The rooms are basic. Found the beds too soft. Upon check in a coffee mugs still had coffee remnants from a previous guest. The bathroom is simple and functional. There was an electric fan. No AC or safe.

GGuest UserStayed here for one night as we wanted a hotel with a pool on our road trip. Of course when we arrived, we were told that the pool was closed because of technical reasons (whatever that is) and also that the on site restaurant was fully booked. Not a great start, but we carried on to our room located in a separate building. The room was nice enough, but had a slight smell of seward coming from the bathroom, one of the towels had an unidentifiable brown stain on it and there was a dead bug in the window. Probably (and really hopefully) the room hadn't been used for a while, so by opening a window when driving for dinner, the smell was gone when we came back. Breakfast was ok, but there is no doubt that there is a heavy focus on breakfast cost, as things could have been much better just with a slight loving touch from the chefs. Instead it seemed like minimum effort within an acceptable but very dull selection. Luckily the pool had opened again in the morning so our small one got to enjoy it for half an hour before we had to check out. Otherwise the grounds are nice and so are the surroundings, but they charge quite a lot, and with that regard the value for money should be better.

GGuest UserThe location is rather good, a good 15 minutes walk to the center, which proved necessary inasmuch when we entered the hotel restaurant where we had placed a reservation we were escorted to the bar by a waiter who said that only guest on a full board can have dinner there. The bar menu was fixed, not a-la-carte thus we left. The rooms are extremely basic, hostel-level: no furniture close to the bed, no safe, no fridge, no ironing, no coffee-making facilities. Wifi almost not-existent. The lift looks and sound as if it will fall down any moment. There is a game room but the tools to play table tennis aren't there, nor the darts. Swimming pool is clean and rather big, unlike our bathroom with someone else's hair. Good sauna.

RR BSituated on the brink of the Castle Lake, the apartments are cozy and nice, and the space is being put to good use. The service is kind and efficient, and the apartment was clean and tidy upon our arrival. We were only there for one night, but almost wished we could stay for another. It is a short walk to the town centre, where we had an excellent dinner. Be sure to read the recommendations from the hotel about discount offers on meals in nearby restaurants. Close parking was cheap and available.

Check-in was easy despite arriving late - we were sent a text with a key code. Well-located, close to both highways and the city centre, this is a great no-frills transit hotel, set in sports grounds.

PPer KrogSuper good location in the middle of Kolding city. Very friendly receptionist. The hotel is held in the original 'old' style. We had a double room that was in a really fine size, but we missed the opportunity to place the bag on, for example, a shame or like. Free coffee and fruit is available, also coffee over afternoon cake.
The hotel has no own restaurant with the A La Card menu, but there are several good dining places in the immediate vicinity.
