Hotels near Jaldevta Temple, Kolhapur

Special thanks to Mandar for accommodating us at the last minute and late evening. He was the one who convinced us to stay @ Vrishali Executive. Only because of their service and commitment towards their guest by the team specially by Mandar, we decided of extending the stay. Thanks to Engg team for assisting us with hot water in the bath room late evening. Breakfast was decent. Overall value for money

Room was clean and well maintained. Bathroom were clean. This hotel also in main city so everything is easily accessible. They also have sufficient parking space. Hotel has 2 restaurant also so you don’t have to go anywhere for food.

We stayed for one night. The rooms were average in size. The furniture was old but adequate. The bathrooms looked newly renovated. The staff was friendly. There was some lack of coordination between reception and house keeping. Food at the hotel was good. Railway station is in walking distance.

Hasel free checkin and checkout, close to kolhapur bus stop and station, helpful staff, safe parking and clean and spacious rooms. All that a visitor wants.

The hotel is well placed, it is near from the local attractions, guests don’t need to travel much from there to visit the attractions, the service is excellent and the staff is friendly. If you are lucky you would be meeting local celebrities as well. The food is excellent with authentic taste. The amenities are plenty and one can relax and rejoice over there.

We didn't stay there, however went in for breakfast buffet. Very attentive staff, security staff approached us the moment we pulled over also acknowledged us on our way out.Restaurant staff were attentive,didn't get their names.Nice ambience at the al fresco seating. Value for money breakfast. Only minor feedback is about water glass, which had kind of an odour. Rest all good.

A very nice budget hotel with all the basic amenities one needs. It's main highlight is the proximity to the temple, at a distance of only about 200-250 m. However, it's just conveniently located to avoid the very crowded street just outside the temple. One can walk down in about 10 mins to the temple. Our biggest decision factor to select this hotel was exactly that. We had our car which we dint want to park in cramped areas near the temple, so leaving it in a parking at the hotel we were staying in was our option. The rooms and the property are well maintained and for an 8 year old hotel look decently new. The ambience is also good. Only downside is absence of a restaurant on the premises. The staff told us that while there was a restaurant functional before COVID (you will still see a mention of the restaurant on the hotel board), it hasn't reopened since the lockdown. The restaurants around the hotel are very small and offer typically local Maharashtrian fare which may not be suitable for all. The reception and staff however are very cooperative in getting food from the surrounding restaurants to your room if you so desire. We managed to order breakfast on both days of our stay there (idlis and poha ***** with tea and chocolate milk for the kids) which was nicely delivered to our room. However for dinner, we had to travel to the newer city areas which are a good 4-5 km away. Without our car, we would have struggled. All in all, a very comfortable stay, sans for the food part which if can be managed like the way we did, this hotel is a very convenient and practical option for staying near the temple.

Neat and clean rooms, supportive staff, walking distance from mahalaxmi temple, 4 km from railway station. Overall peaceful ambience of hotel. Food are costly so better to have at nearby restaurants. Hotel tea is very good.
