I have stayed with my wife in Hotel Madhuri Executive in March 2022. We stayed for the purpose of visiting Mahalaxmi temple in the morning & doing pooja. The tariff is affordable & service is apt. There was a minor TV swithcing on problem but overall, a good stay . The main Mahalaxmi temple is @ just 5 mniutes walking distance, I did not test food here. The devotees shall book this hotel room for Mahalaxmi darshan.

The Silver Oak hotel is located at Bindu chowk, just opposite to Commerce college. Being on busy road it is very hard to get a parking area. We reached the hotel at 12:25 and checkin process took 15 minutes as the rooms are getting ready. The hotel rooms are clean but very small and even the bath area is also very Conjusted. It was raining the whole day and expected hot water, but there is no chance except warm water. There is no proper ventilation in the rooms. The service is average as there are no trained staff and one cannot expect more. North Indian and Punjabi food is available in the restaurant but the taste is average and needs a lot of improvement. We ordered harabara kabab which is out of taste and Veg Kolhapuri is too spicy. At the time of booking on phone they confirmed that Complimentary breakfast is available, but later they served Ala kata with limited menu. The lobby area is too small. The only advantage of this hotel is, it is 10 minutes walkable distance to Shri Mahalaxmi Temple. There are many hotels available nearby temple. Overall tourists can get better options with in the same budget.

The hotel is located right across the railway station and at the main road which is a positive factor ***** with ample parking space in the basement. The staff is friendly and the complimentary breakfast is good. The only thing the hotel can improve on is the aesthetics, the entire property feels a little old. Overall a great experience

Stayed a night with family and friends and booked 3 rooms here. The second time I was visiting in atharv. Located on main road, narrow road approach but no issue of parking as they have underground parking. Rooms are less spacious but very neat and clean ***** with the other washroom. Linens were neat. Breakfast spread is very limited but good with taste. I also had a dinner there. Satisfied with the quality and taste of food Overall a good stay, small cozy hotel.

I stayed at Krishna Inn- The green hotel in Kolhapur. I decided to try this hotel looking at some good reviews and it was kind of an good experience. Hotel is at a Good central, yet calm and peaceful location, Breakfast was good. Improvements- Water flow pressure for the tap in bathroom was a bit low. Can be improved. Hope hotel management will take care of this suggestion. However overall good option to stay at an affordable price.

The most overpriced unwholesome experience avoid at all costs! We walk in tired and the so called front office person tries to charge us 5800 + gst while his colleague has actually confirmed 5200 + gst at this point when we give him his colleagues name he adds the final amount on the card machine and presents it to me. He gives us a room and ask us to depart prior to 10 am this while being aware that we are here on a religious trip I am with senior citizens one of whom is limping , the entire modus is of trying to squeeze a penny. We enter the room and a very nice bell boy gets us all the missing toiletries and water. We tell him the air conditioning is non functional this is at 11 30 pm he asks us to wait for 20 minutes. At 1 am when we call the front office the same *** who checked us in says I am sending a technician to check and lo and behold the technician is this young multipurpose bell boy. It’s like I’m in grand Budapest based in Kolhapur the characters are straight out of Wes Anderson barring us enduring the whole sham. Save your money and stay at any other property! PS : this is our last trip after 5 previous trips in 2 years.

We actually visited the dining and not stay. Opal is quite popular and also very famous in Kolhapur. It is just next to the five star hotel Sayaji. It is also very accessible from main parts of city like the Kolhapur bus stand or railway station. Its nearby localities also have McD and other hotels like Dehati and some more. Must try dishes in Opal which ai would recommend are: For Veg peoples: 1- Veg thali - This is semi unlimited thali with variety of dishes in gravy sabzi, dal, rice, sweet, papadam etc. 2- Panner masala 3- jeera rice For Non- Veg peoples: Well you have varieties to try but I would recommend, 1- Mutton Masala or 2- Mutton Fry 3- Mutton Biryani 4- Chicken Spl biryani 5- Chicken masala 6- Butter Naan for sweet lovers: 1- Lassi is a must drink to try. Thick and creamy. Also you can try the Chas (buttermilk), Solkadi - Very popular drink in Maharashtra side (specially costal regions) this helps in keeping you stomach calm and also helps in acidity and heat problems.

The hotel is well placed, it is near from the local attractions, guests don’t need to travel much from there to visit the attractions, the service is excellent and the staff is friendly. We didn't stay there, however went in for breakfast buffet. Very attentive staff, security staff approached us the moment we pulled over also acknowledged us on our way out.Restaurant staff were attentive,didn't get their names.Nice ambience at the al fresco seating. Value for money breakfast. Only minor feedback is about water glass, which had kind of an odour. Rest all good.

GGuest UserPositives 1)I was looking for closer location to Mumbai Bangalore highway. This place was 3.5 kms from that. I was okay with that. 2)The room was bigger. I was okay with the size. This was okay for 2 persons but not for third person. Third person would be a crowd. 3)They offered 1 mineral water bottle as complimentary which was good 4)The breakfast was served hot and it was tasty. They served Poha, Upama and Egg omlet (I have stated an important quality issue in my dislikes. Negatives 1)Breakfast was hot and tasty except for Egg Omlet as it had smell of oil. I am not sure of the quality of oil used for Omlet or the pan used to shallow fry it (may be it was unclean). When person asked me about quality of the breakfast I stated that. This person when he spoke to an old *** he was screaming as to why am I complaining looking at me. This behavior was highly ridiculous. The feedback is always honest and one must happily accept it and must look at it and revert only after checking. The old *** has never learnt this such a simple yet very important thing in life. He must be given this feedback which are towards him. This is why for staff they didn't get highest rating. 2)The beds were not hard enough and the pillows were too hard. Hence it was not good for sound sleep. I could sleep well. My wife had disturbed sleep due to this issue. Hence comfort score above was not the best. 3)The toilet door was too noisy when it was opened or closed.

We stayed in Executive Room. Rooms are quite big and bed is comfortable. Staff is very cooperative. Watchman is knowledgeable and shares information one needs. Reception and rooms are on first floor. Lift is not working and that's a problem for old people. Hot water system in my room was not working properly but in other room it was fine. Breakfast is included in room price but is not buffet and one needs to order multiple dishes (service is slow) Building looks like a residential building but once you arrive at reception and rooms, it's a great place Parking is available but watchman needs to open the gate to let you in to park in basement. D-Mart is very close. Rankala Lake is close too. I will not stay here again

GGuest UserOverall hotel is good. Little expensive. We had called the reception to check on ac as same was not working properly. However no one came to check the same. When we wanted to order from their restaurant, the number was busy so we called reception. The receptionist said he can't do anything for it. No courtesy of saying ”let me help you” or ”can you try again, i will speak at the restaurant. No empathy for the customers.

Good family hotel . Room is good . No much view outside as such . A small windows and backyard is uncurated hut Ent’s and jungle type . Service is good but room service should cover food while sending to rooms . Presently they send completely open on dishes . At least a foil or shrink wrap cover necessary . Service is good . Breakfast excellent but layout is on a tight place with very less space to pick up . All services are efficient . Overall a decent place to stay with some improvements it can swing the needle a lot .

Stayed for 2 nights in the hotel with family of 3 adults. The hotel is conveniently located close to NH48 but far from city and Mahalaxmi temple ( takes 120 rs by auto and no ola/uber service available + at night to come back to hotel autos charge extra than meter). The room was adequate for 3 and the wifi was fast. However wifi had no option to remember the user name and password and had to be logged every time one enters the hotel or room. The service wasn't great and it took a lot of time to respond to requests. The intercom wasn't working and reception had to be called over mobile too often. The closed parking is mostly occupied and had to park the car in open but within hotel premises. The food was delicious but slightly expensive. The breakfast spread was pathetic with same stuff every day and no variety. Hot water was available only for bath and not in the washbasin. Hotel doesn't have electronic card key but the old school keys. I would recommend this hotel only if this is reqd as a stop gap arrangement. The hotel has an arrangement to call the auto if requested
