FabHotel the Eden Ruby

I do not recommend anyone to come to this “hotel.” There is a nicer hotel for only several hundred more per night right across the street. Cons: Extremely* unclean: the bedsheets were stained. The bathroom had dust everywhere. There were lipstick marks and other brown markings on the window curtains and the walls. Every night people leave their food outside the door and the staff do not clean it up until morning; I saw multiple mice, rats and other rodents on the staircase eating left over food. They claim to be a 24 hour hotel, but they often lock their doors around 10-11PM. Usually a *** is sleeping inside, and you have to pound on the window for him to let you in. He is extremely rude and scolds you for being out late. The hotel seems to think that those who are on holiday need to have a curfew. Uncomfortable and borderline creepy hotel staff that dont allow you to have guests for more than 5 minutes. When I checked in my friend of the opposite gender attempted to accompany me to see the room and the hotel staff rudely told her “5 minutes MAXIMUM.” The staff seems antiquated in their thinking and reaffirms a heteronormative patriarchy that claims to protect single-female’s honour for the sake of male privilege. They claim to have free breakfast but they did not provide any free breakfast. They claim to provide daily room cleaning and for my week long stay they did not clean the room once. Simply put, laziness. AC works but often misfunctions. They refused to fix. Pros: Decent wifi Fridge Cheap

Hotel location is very good. The staff was polite and courteous. fast check in and check out was done. Food was okay okay and can definitely be improved in taste and quantity wise in breakfast. Overall a decent stay

It is a very old hotel, poorly maintained. The pictures shown on the website are either very old, or heavily edited. The room we stayed in was unclean with a lot of dust on the window sills and at least a tonne of garbage under the bed. Walls had water damage marks and paint was patchy. The flush was regurgitating. Although early check in and check out was accommodated well by the reception, but other than the convenience in terms of location as per our requirements, nothing else was noteworthy, even for a budget hotel.
