Nice property and well maintained. Offers all the basic amenities as stated on the website and the food is pretty good. However, I think the staff need some more training as it seems very disorganised. The staff are trying their best but it seems like a problem with the management.

It’s a very good resort nestled on the Ashtamudi lake. Studio room we got was on 2nd floor with beautiful lake view. Rooms were nice, clean and big. Regarding food at the resort, all credit goes to Chef Suresh. He listened to us, arranged excellent food. Kudos to him. Rest nothing went well. Pool was murky and no cleaning was carried out despite complaints. No pool towels, no refreshments at the pool side. It seemed as if Club Mahindra forgot that they have a pool too. We booked a tour for Varkala from activity centre. We got a dirty car with defective AC and a grumpy driver. We got 50% discount on complaining though. We paid for 1h 15m massage in the swaastha spa which got wrapped up in 45 mins! I was out in an hour after steam and shower and felt cheated. Overall experience: property is excellent, food is excellent and everything else is left on the god!

Post paying for your membership you need to pay an annual maintenance charge of 20,500 , which roughly works out to 3000 for each day you book at the hotel. And after paying 3000 a day as mantainance charges we received a room where the drain wasnt working. On the first day we complained they said they will look into it, but till the last day it stayed the way it was. We asked them for cutlery they left 4 knifes to eat our food. And this is after repeated request for cutlery. If you visit the restaurant for breakfast they make you wait for awhile and then convince you to take the buffet package at a lower price instead of ordering fresh food at the restaurant. The day we were checking out we waited for an hour for the cart to pick up our luggage, the cart never turned up, I had to drive my car on the buggy track blocking all buggies to take my luggage out. And most buggies were just staff moving around. Not once did we get a buggy when we requested for one. The only time the buggy is efficient is when you check in and when non members book the buggy. Its a lovely property to stay at minus the staff and food. My advice would be to stay there order food online, book your boat rides outside at 30% of the cost of what the club charges. If you can, get a room nearest to the car park.

We stayed at CM Ashtamudi or 4 Pax/3N/2 Rooms, booked via MMT. The entire experience was 5 star. Food was great, rooms were great, landscape/waterfront views were great. The customer service (stay and f&B) and attention to details were great. Lots of activities during the day, though we did not participate because we were mostly outside. Although we didn't use any of their extras (housbeoat, speedboat...), they have such facilities in-house. Would recommend for families and get togethers. Other notables: Well maintained property. Nice pool, but only till 7PM Smooth check-in and check out. Sufficient parking for around 10-15 cars. Access roads are adequate. There are small local restaurants and shops, just outside their gate. There is a govt boat jetty 50m away and we can get outside houseboats to pick/drop there instead of travelling to the city-side jetty.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Club Mahindra Ashtamudi during our June vacation. We were a group of three families and this property exceeded our expectations in every way. The resort is huge, beautifully maintained and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. There are countless picturesque spots across the property, making it perfect for relaxing walks and memorable photographs. The location is simply outstanding, situated right beside the magnificent Ashtamudi backwaters, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Our rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, beautifully designed and felt truly luxurious. Every detail added to the comfort of our stay. The restaurant served delicious food and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals throughout our visit. One of the highlights of our stay was the Happy Hub, which offered excellent activities for both adults and children, keeping everyone entertained. The resort staff also helped us arrange an early morning Shikara boat ride on the backwaters, which turned out to be the most memorable experience of our entire Ashtamudi trip. What truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of the staff. Everyone was courteous, friendly and always willing to help with a smile. Overall, Club Mahindra Ashtamudi is a fantastic destination for families looking for a relaxing and luxurious holiday amidst nature. We created unforgettable memories here and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Kerala. We will definitely be coming back!

Club Mahindra Ashtamudi is located in a beautiful setting that many visitors consider peaceful and perfect for strolls by the lake. The Happy Hub team organized excellent activities that made our stay remarkable it is a must-visit destination ❤️❤️❤️❤️. We also enjoyed the traditional Kerala dance Kathakali, with our family making it an overall enjoyable experience

Sharing my experience of Club Mahindra Ashtamudi We stayed here for two nights. On arrival after 7 hrs drive, we were greeted by non welcoming and uninterested staff There was no formal welcome. No explanation about the experiences and other facilities like restaurants happy hub boating etc Staff was in a hurry to put us in the room so much so that they got wrong key and kept us waiting for 10-15 mins In room service was late. No dental kits were available in the five star property like this.

All are very good. reception staff, travel desk all are very helpful. Activity staff, restaurant staff, cleanliness all are very good. Very good place.,
