Schönes Hotel. Die junge Dame von der Rezeption war überaus freundlich und hat mich mit allen Infos und Restaurant Empfehlungen für das Abendessen versorgt. Das Einzelzimmer war sehr sauber und nett gestaltet. Es lag zur Nebenstraße und war deshalb angenehm ruhig. Ich habe mich bewusst für das vegane Frühstück entschieden. Aber im Nachhinein muss ich sagen, als Rheinsteig Wanderer, brauche ich doch eher etwas handfestes. Es gab eine Etagere, voller kleiner Köstlichkeiten. Alles selbst gemacht und mit Liebe zubereitet, aber eben nicht das richtige für mich. Der Preis von etwas über 18€ halte ich für fair. Das hat viel Arbeit gemacht. Herausheben möchte ich noch die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Amazing hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the owner was welcoming. He gave us a drink, chatted to us, and recommended restaurants. The room was lovely. Konigswinter was a surprise too and well worth a visit. Great Castle! Would stay here again without hesitation.

All the attributes of a feel-good hotel can be found here. Charming welcome and farewell, friendly staff, dream breakfast, top rooms and very tasteful interior. Here, modernity meets a little bit of Rhine romance. We'll be back!!

The welcome, the room and staff were excellent. The lovely hotel was centrally placed in Konigswinter in a pedestrianised street and parking was within easy reach. There were no tea and coffee facilities, mini fridge or air-conditioning in the room although a fan was supplied. Our biggest surprise was that upon our arrival we were told the only breakfast option was plant based! This was not indicated at time of booking or at any time prior to our arrival. We felt we should have been told in advance of our arrival.

Beautiful hotel and super friendly staff and owner. Rarely experienced something like this. Great location in the center of the city and pedestrian zone. The breakfast was a little different and the rooms were good. Everything was very clean and modern. The parking issue was solved very well.

From the exceptionally friendly welcome from the boss himself, to the lovingly furnished family suite in the attic, which offered a peaceful night, to the very different but substantial breakfast with a friendly and energetic waiter, it was a consistently pleasant stay during our hike. The only downside: knowing that something like this will be hard to repeat in the coming days.

A bright star in the somewhat sleepy sky of Königswinter. Beautifully renovated, lovingly designed down to the last corner and the rooms immaculately clean. The highlight is the vegan breakfast, which cannot be topped in terms of variety and diversity, served by charming staff who take great care of the guests. Nice atmosphere, the owner and staff were extra nice and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. I really liked the breakfast. Was there for two weeks on business and I'm sure I'll go back for vacation

The super friendly owner was nothing too much. He arranged a table at the only restaurant open on Christmas Eve. The room is comfortable, clean with a good bed! The shower is fine with a good water jet. The breakfast lady was also very friendly.
