Ibis Budget Konstanz

Leider wird der Kunde nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass es drei unterschiedliche IBIS-Einstufungen gibt. Das sollte klarer hervorgehoben werden, zumal die IBIS-Hotels wohl in einem Umbruch stecken, so in Bonn und in Kassel.

Die Lage hat uns gut gefallen, ruhig gelegen in einem Industriegebiet. Bushaltestelle ist wenige Meter entfernt und man ist in ca. 10 - 15 Minuten in der Stadt/ am Seeufer. Vor dem Hotel gibt es ein paar wenige kostenlose Parkplätze. Zimmer war ruhig und praktisch ausgestattet. Kein Schrank und leider auch kein Safe vorhanden. Im Bad gab es leider Schimmelflecken in der Dusche an den Fugen und der Wasserdruck ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Matratzen waren leider sehr hart und ungemütlich. Frühstück war ausreichend. Check in und out ging schnell und problemlos.

When I arrived, the reception on the Budget side was closed, with a simple note in German saying to go to the Style side for check-in. By the way, a shame for those who don't read German. Fact; I pass through the Style side through a corridor separating the two hotels. Without a polite word, she hands me a paper to fill out, and asks me for the prepayment of the room after saying good evening and asking to speak in English. I ask him for a parking space, no, the parking lot is full and gives me very vague explanations for finding a place around the hotel, then hands me my key, like it's okay, good evening, no explanations for breakfast, for directions to the room! I find my room, put my suitcase down, and go back to see if I can find a parking space, in vain. I return to the entrance on the Style side, since there was no more light on the Budget side, and as it turns out, my key does not open the door on that side. I ring the bell, and there I see the 3 people behind the reception, visibly very annoyed by my nerve for wanting to go through the wrong side to enter the hotel. I explain over the intercom that I want to go to the bar, which gives me entry authorization, otherwise.... As I pass in front of them, their look is very telling! The bartender, just as pleasant, ended up giving me a bottle of water in exchange for the voucher. Fortunately and despite very poor soundproofing between floors, the room is pleasant. I discovered that on the day of my departure that there was a breakfast room on the Budget side, that said, I took mine on the Style side without any problem. Initially, I had to request the issuance of an invoice, because it was not even offered to me.

Great hotel and very nice staff. Breakfast is completely sufficient, the coffee from the Atomat is however underground. room ok. Cleanliness was also good. The mattresses take a lot of getting used to as they are really hard. Since you can only park to a limited extent around the hotel, you need strong nerves to get a place. You can park in the hotel's own underground car park, but over 8 euros per day is really outrageous. All in all a pleasant stay.

Prezzo ragionevole per standard qualitativo/funzionali elevati dell'ospitalità. Qualche problema per parcheggiare l'auto: pochi posti esterni riservati dell'hotel, tanti nella zona commerciale adiacente ma non accessibili (o almeno così dicono le indicazioni) perchè privati. Il garage sotterraneo dell'hotel - a pagamento - si riempie in fretta.
