Best Hotels near Krajinski park Debeli rtič / Parco naturale Punta Grossa, Koper

We were visiting the Slovenian Coast for 5 Nights as a couple with a dog. We opted for a hotel in a more quiet location compared with portoroz - Izola etc.... What a great choice! Firstly, the hotel is beautiful renovated and looks like a new place. All is well and feels new - from the Restaurant, Lobby and the Rooms! (and awesome Salt chambers..) We chose a double room with balcony, which in those hot days were great for the early mornings or later evenings! (plus a big help in drying beach towels and clothes!) The room was nice, safe and mini bar fridge all available. Good shower - and for outdoor 38 degrees heat a perfectly working Air Con!! That's a real bonus! The Food (Breakfast was an enough wide selection) and the Dinner (mixed à la carte & sushi) must be stated was amazingly nice cooked, real top quality chef! if you like to dine out or eat in the evenings out just a 10-minute walk is the Ancaran Townsquare with a handful of nice Bars, Italian, Local Speciality Restaurant and so on. ＞All one needs! But the best ist still straight down from the hotel, the small bar on the beach! - So! - most over all I like to mention the feeling being a few days away from home in this place made us really relaxed and the best of the hotel is the people who work there!! - from the welcome reception team to the bar & restaurant staff and the housekeepers - all were at every time friendly and engaged! Overall, the Owner or Manager of this Hotel should be happy to have exactly this team working there now! They are awesome people with a good sense of hospitality! I would try to keep them! From the hotel you can walk in 3-5 minutes to a nice calm, quiet beach with another nice Restaurant and Bar (directly overlooking the Bay of Ancaran, Koper and so on) which was a lovely scenery!). The water was crystal clean and perfect temperature, and each time coming back to the hotel felt simply nice. Having travelled over 100s of times and stayed in 2-5 star hotels all over - this is definitely a place to go back. You just have to know what you are looking for and what kind of entertainment one wants. If you choose wisely, and you look for a bit more quiet place and not overloaded with people - and good drinks, food etc... than this is your destination! Thank you Team Ortus for the great stay. Excellent hotel, very kind and helpful staff, excellent breakfast (eggs freshly made, not the usual reheated hotel scrambled mess), and a very nice room. Obviously, view and size of the room depend on the category booked. We wanted to have a nice weekend trip at the Mediterranean - hence, have chosen room with sea view - worth every additional Euro - so nice - even a perfect view from the bathroom! I was a bit skeptical on the short-notice choice of Koper - there is not really much to do. But he combination of Koper Grand, Folpo food truck, Loggia cafe & wine bar and Savor restaurant for dinner was just perfect.

This property is nice, styled in the Baroque period. Staff are friendly (Eastern Euro friendly that is... not bad, just different from”Western” friendly), and have been helpful (Jem, Sarah, Maria.) The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I would not describe this property as an American luxury hotel, but it is certainly very nice. The toiletries and towels are skimpy, however sufficient. The breakfast buffet is certainly less in quantity than other hotels in Croatia offer in Rijeka, but the food is GOOD and fresh, there is cerals, scrambled eggs, yogurts, cheeses, breads, meats, juices and HOT coffee that tastes great. You won't be hungry with this buffet. The other reviews that complain are just whiners. The ONLY negative with this property is that the AC in each room (we had 2 rooms) are: noisy, barely cool and do smell musty. We opened the windows since it cools down nicely at night but there are no screens, so the mosquitos come in, so it is a catch 22: be warm or be bitten by bugs. Overall, I would stay here again.

Eminently walkable to all sights in Trieste, The Modernist Hotel is a delight. It’s location on Corso Italia is a potent crossroad that leads to all of Trieste’s historical and cultural sights. The Modernist offers a fabulous breakfast, as well as a great restaurant. It is placed deservedly alongside the distinctive character of this vibrant coastal city. A wonderful immersive experience on all levels.

Amazing building in the heart of Trieste with very comfortable rooms and a stunning bar. The staff is very helpful and organised a dinner location for us. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but went to a local eatery instead as there are plenty nearby.

If you want to truly experience Trieste in the right location and with style then this is the place. A small perfectly built Palace run by staff who care about their guests. There is absolutely everything you need here. I arrived late at night and when I walked out onto the breakfast room the following room found myself saying wow at the view on the stunning Piazza. I choose this hotel because I had always wanted to stay there in Trieste, I did return for a second stay and I would stay there again. You are close to the sea, the historical centre, numerous bars and restaurants, shopping and tourist hotspots. The rooms are lovely, majestically clean. Breakfast are a relaxing experience you do not want to hurry because why would you with that view around you. The bar is the place to be throughout the day and also acts as an informal restaurant throughout the day. Formal is also available but that was not my choice. Rooms were large comfortable and very clean with the best amenities provided. Book your stay, you know you want to!
