Had the most amazing back massage by Vilisika - she was polite, helpful & lovely. Gave me lots of advice on exercises etc to do to help with neck and should tension. She was very mindful of how much pressure she was using & checked regularly I was comfortable. Brilliant experience.

I've never written a trip advisor review before. However, giving the mixed reviews on this hotel and the anxiety they gave me before coming here, I feel I must. Firstly, I would agree, it's definitely not 5* and having stayed at 3 other holiday villages, it definitely isn't up to their standards yet. Rooms - The hotel is very steep, especially from the pool to the waterpark and rooms at the top. This was fine for us but definitely not suitable for people with mobility issues. Also, being an HV aimed at families, it's not ideal for pushchairs and toddlers. The room was clean and a reasonable size. Air con worked great. Mini fridge came in handy however is wasn't restocked daily, and no water was provided. Other 5* I've stayed in have always restocked with at least 1 water, soft drink, and beer per person. The tea, coffee, and milk weren't replenished either. Pools - Pools are lovely and spacious. Busier pool is by the main restaurant. We mainly stayed around this pool as It has more of an atmosphere and it was easier to get lunch from the pizza/deli cafes. The pool is deep, and I couldn't reach the bottom. The HV activity pool is right next to it and does get very busy, and it's much shallower. Rather than sunbeds around it, they have deck chairs that dont look very comfy. We did have to go down around 8 to reserve a sunbed as the first day we went down about 10.30, and there wasn't any left. The pool on the other side of the hotel is shallow and has a shaded area for little ones. One thing I would say is that the life guard on the busier pool side doesn't really watch the water, and the pool does get very busy with lots of floats. Water park at top of the hill is always quiet, with plenty of sunbeds. There is a self-service drinks machine, but it would be better if there was a bar service and some music. Service - Before coming, I read a lot of reviews about bad service and rude staff. But we haven't experienced any of this. Yes, the bars get busy, but the que goes down very quickly. I would recommend getting a few drinks at a time as the glasses are only small. You could also bring your own bigger plastic cups, which they are happy to fill up. Towards the middle of our holiday, we noticed a lot more staff at the bar, and if you were drinking inside, drinks were served in glasses rather than plastic cups. There is self service stations for soft drinks. Drinks inside the bar tend to be very strong, compared to the bar by the amphitheatre. All the staff have been friendly and polite. Some don't talk as much but are always greeted with a smile. Food - Breakfast is nice with lots of variety. We never had to que but would normally go down around 9.30. Lunch was nice in the main restaurant, and we had gyros (from the van on the quieter side), which were lovely. The pizza and pasta posto were really nice. There is a lovely little sweet desert stall too, all three open 11-5. My only complaint would be for them to offer more fruit down stairs

Just back from the best, most amazing holiday at this hotel. Everything was fantastic. The many pools, the rooms, cleanliness, helpful staff, great food and lots of choices, Tui reps available every day and location brilliant! Beach just across the road and town within a 10 minute walk! Cannot wait to go back! Can't understand the negative reviews at all!

Not 5 star I'm afraid. In some places it looks tatty. The pool toilets are quite poor. Paint peeling off, toilet door missing a lock and one missing a seat. Not enough staff clearing glasses from the pool area so gets untidy. Only 2 staff serving at the bar so queues build up. Food OK but similar every night. Best staff are the guys who drive the buggys. It's a big place and quite steep in parts so not for older people with mobility problems

We booked this thinking it was 5 star! I’ll start off with the negatives! Food was disgusting and really found it hard in the evenings to find food that we liked! & we are not fussy eaters! The breakfast & lunch was absolutely fine. We did have to Que for breakfast. Tried to eat in the Italian in the morning as when booking it said main restaurant open for breakfast and Italian! But only main one open! Dinners were vile! & mainly ate bread & chips most nights! Have never even been to a 3 star and left a bad review on food! Then the American was shut the whole time we was there untill finally days and couldn’t get availability. Did manage to eat in the Greek and Asian. Which was very nice! So out of a 14 day stay. Only 2 days we ate decent meals! The Ariel adventure was closed the whole 2 weeks, pool towels were hard to change and the spa lady kept saying to us the hotel has not given us any! Never been to a 5star where you get 1 bottle of water for your fridge for the whole stay and you have to refill! Getting a drink in the evening by the amphitheater was just a joke!!! If she hadn’t ran out of cups she was just so slow and on her own for all the amount of people! So you can image the ques! Pool was absolutely freezing and hardly anyone could have fun in the pool the 1st week! Bed sheets wasn’t changed! I know this as I accidentally put makeup on them the 1st day & 14 days later. Still there! Patio doors were filthy! Just not 5 star standard! Really hilly!, Feel like we wasted money and needed another holiday after tbh! The hotel did give me a free late check out due to the disgusting food. But then tried to charge me €100! I said Tui have put me down as a free late check out due to the food! I did then get it. But it doesn’t make up for 14 days of bad food! Also if you was to pay €100 that is disgraceful for 7hrs for a room! Positives: HV Team really were amazing with the kids! I applaud them & the ladies behind the bar at the activity side pool were really friendly and done their best! Food at the Greek and Asian was fabulously! Football coach carter was so nice and friendly. Best night was the team that came in for the karaoke! That were such fun and great singers! Tui lady daisy was lovely but I felt sorry for her as she had so many complaints about the food! The alcarts being closed & the Ariel. So didn’t want to give her a hard time! She tried her best. But it was out of her hands and not much she could do! Beach is across the road. 20 mins walk to kardemena where you will probably end up going to eat as it being so poor! You don’t get value for money here. I wouldn’t come back again! I would book elsewhere! It’s ok saying “oh I don’t mind a buffet I’ll eat anything! But with dried up chicken, spegetti bolognese (with hardly any mince in), & god knows the other slop! but the chips, bread and chicken nuggets are good! Didn’t see no prawns or any luxury dishes in the buffet what you normally get in a 5 star! & when you get there y

Positives Good location, only about 15 minutes walk to Kardamaina, great view, good size swimming pools, a fantastic spa for those that want to get a massage, rooms modern. Very good pizza by the main pool and Kebabs by the quiet pool. Cleanliness Very poor, we checked in to a dirty toilet, blood stains on curtains and very questionable stains on bed sheets which I only hope were rust. Don’t bother putting your towels on the floor when dirty as they will just hang them back up, happened to us twice I honestly don’t think that bed sheets were changed even once. Food Breakfast was good and very good desserts. Actual lunch and dinner buffet was barely edible. Oh and it’s nearly impossible to get booked in to a la carte restaurant Slides!!! I sprained my knee going down the slide and was limping for the whole holiday, so just be careful as they’re not so many health and safety measures around them. You would imagine someone should be on top controlling people going down the slides and explaining health and safety measures. Overall I wouldn’t give it more than 3 stars as I expected more for the money we payed. Hotel definitely needs to get more help as the staff that works there seems overwhelmed at times which reflects on service level. I honestly don’t know if would consider coming back.

We were supposed to stay at the Labranda, which closed down the day before we flew and got moved to this hotel. We chose the Labranda as it had an adults only pool and bar. For context we are a couple in our early 30s, no kids. We don’t mind kids, especially if parents remind them not to bomb into the pool directly in front of our sunbeds 😂🙈 Writing this while sat by the pool before our flight home today.. Rooms- We were in 1517, which was a family suite. Was perfect for us, but think it’d be quite cramped for 4. However, you don’t spend much time in the room on holiday. Clean apart from the floor which was very dirty when we arrived. Aircon often says ‘CP’ which means the patio door is open, even when it’s not, cue lots of slamming 😂 Shower head leaked over the screen but fixed it ourselves. Food- Buffet is good for a couple of days, but lunch / dinner is never warmer than lukewarm, and is on almost constant repeat. For some reason, breakfast is always hot. I know they are mass producing on a budget, but it’s like this place has never heard of seasoning / spices. There was one mexican and one asian night in the main buffet restaurant while we were there. We ate out multiple times. I’d recommend eat breakfast, then get the gyros van for lunch. The pizza place is quite nice, the sandwich place is pretty rubbish, the sandwiches are so dry. DO NOT book the greek taverna as your a la carte. Nice meze starter, but the lamb main has next to no meat and no seasoning, just tastes like plain lamb. Waited so long for drinks we went to the main bar and got our own. Bar- Get 2 drinks at a time, half the drinks and ice and they are always understaffed. Tequila sunrises are ok. Drinks generally taste like your standard cheapest that can be made. Pools- I don’t know the names, but go to the further pool (by the italian) for a slightly quieter experience. The main one by the greek taverna / pizza place etc has all the kids pool activities and is very loud and more cramped. Also so many people are ****** that put their towels out at 7am then don’t appear until 11am. I put our towels out early but then stayed out on them! We luckily got £200 back as an apology for our prior hotel being closed. Even with that, this place is not worth breaking the bank over. It looks aesthetically quite nice, but otherwise it’s a humongous holiday ‘village’ on a tight budget. I won’t be returning. Kardamena itself is lovely- just look for somewhere else to stay!

Very good massage and very relaxing. Great facilitities as it wad very quiet and peacfull. Which makes you want to fall asleep as it is so relaxing. The massage was very good as you could ask what and how you would like it to be done. All in all very good

Arrived at 4:15 pm and the room wasn’t ready, whilst at reception I heard a woman voicing her displeasure with the hotel as she was checking out. Very poor first impression and she was entirely correct with everything she said. Eventually got the room keys at about 5 and tried to book into the al a carte restaurant, absolutely no chance this continued throughout the stay despite me constantly trekking down to reception asking for their help as the booking app wasn’t working. Turns out they just don’t have the staff to run the a la carte restaurants and unless you’re constantly spamming the booking app you won’t get in. I did speak to a couple of people who had booked in more than once who just sat on their phones all day looking for spaces and as the app isn’t monitored they could book more than once effectively taking the spaces of the people who couldn’t get in. Reception and the TUI staff were of no help and only offered me a late room check out option as compensation but as we were being picked up at 10 in the morning this was totally pointless. Reception staff are of NO help along with the TUI reps who just washed their hands of the issue. On arrival at our room (I had requested a high floor quiet room) I got a ground floor room directly across from reception which was extremely noisy the safe also wasn’t working. I called reception again but they weren’t too bothered about sorting this. After returning to the room at 9 at night after visiting the food troughs I noticed the door did not lock internally as it was broken, this was a massive health and safety issue as the door lead directly to outside from my 8 year old son’s bedroom. He sleep walks occasionally and as we’d been up since 1:30 the previous morning he was obviously shattered and I didn’t want him wondering off disoriented in the middle of the night. Our room was through 2 internal doors and I was terrified he would get out in the night as the room was very close to the pools and sea. By this point I was fuming and went back down to reception and requested to speak to the general manager. The best they offered me was a room change at 10 at night. Ended up having my son in our room for the night as I didn’t fancy having to pack up again and change rooms. The lock was fixed at 4pm the next day along with the safe so effectively the first day of the holiday was totally ruined. The bars are awful no fresh fruit juices anywhere on site just sickly syrup mixed with soda, cheap spirits and gross lager that didn’t seem to have any alcohol in. Mythos is the local beer in Greece but this hotel has the cheek to want to charge this as a premium beer so you’re left to drink the slop that they call lager unless you shell out more money for their premium drinks packages. Queues are horrendously long so everyone gets fed up waiting and then arguments break out between guests. The food is ATROCIOUS troughs of bland food stagnating in their trays. This was the worst food I’ve ever seen in a ‘re
