Sheraton Kosgoda Turtle Beach Resort Reviews

We were supposed to stay her for two nights but added another to our itinerary. It's a relaxing and beautiful place for families and friends. The rooms are clean and spacious. Housecleaning is also calling to check if anything is needed . The restaurant has a variety of foods from around the world. The onsite spa has reasonably priced packages and the turtle sanctuary has many sea life to look at.

5 Star hotel in the middle of kosgoda to chill and relax, but don't expect much options in the immediate vicinity

A beautiful hotel and amazing views. We were able to enjoy a relaxing stay in this lovely hotel and explore swimming in the ocean.

The advantages of the hotel are a very good breakfast and dinner. Buffet. Very abundant. There are both seafood and local cuisine. Delicious. I would also like to note the traditional Marriott chain quality of bed. I slept great on it. The beach in this place is excellent. You can swim safely - the waves are not so strong. Everything is very picturesque if you go left and right. Now about the disadvantages. Unfortunately, there are more of them. The staff are very unpolite, you felt like you were not welcome here, they were doing you a favor. Fake smiles. On the day of check-out, a little after 12, for a few minutes the staff began knocking on the door and demanding to vacate the room. Is this worthy of such a hotel chain? When I tried to pay at the reception with a Union Pay card, the staff said that the terminal for Russian cards did not work. Although, in other places and hotels in Sri Lanka, everything worked without problems and it was possible to pay everywhere. I explain this behavior by lack of customer focus, which, again, is very strange for a hotel of such a chain as Marriott and for the service. I also want to note that this hotel did not have orthopedic pillows or any other pillows - when I tried to find out about this possibility, I was rudely told that there were no other pillows and that was all. In general, for the staff, service and their attitude - a big minus and a bad rating

Nimantha&venul are the rock stars.. Asset to the sheraton.. Love the hospitality..this place is amazing. Chef food is good. Very nice place Liquor collection is good I am very happy thank you for the service at olive bar nice people in the hotel

I've already stayed three times at the in Sheraton hotel Kosgoda Location is great,Staff is very efficient and friendly specially Asanka, Danushka, Sadun,Continental breakfast is very good in my opinion (bacon, scambles eggs, bread/toast, cereals, fruit juice, fresh fruit, ham, cheese,....). WLAN is free in my room. I would highly recommend this hotel. X

Lovely hotel on the beach and great choice of food . Make sure you go onto the beach and look for Kumar . He was fantastic in arranging trips for us . We went on a river cruise /whale watching trip /train ride including nine arches bridge and a fantastic safari . He was absolutely great and arranged everything at great prices for us . He made our holiday and would 100% recommend him . So honest and showed us local places we would have missed .A beautiful beach and country to visit .

Welcome - we were greeted well on arrival As this was our last hotel on trip we requested for an upgrade. The receptionist said the hotel was full but it wasnt the case when we checked with housekeeping staff. Rooms - The rooms are pretty standard 5 star rooms with partial sea view from the room we stayed in. Service - The room service/housekeeping was very quick and efficient but the service at the pool restaurant was very dull and unwelcoming. F&B - The food and the service at the main restaurant was outstanding. This is what saved our good views on this hotel. The manager was more than eager to serve us well. Pool - The pool is very nice- very big and well maintained Beach- The beach was nothing special. Overall - A decent hotel with tough neighborly competition.

I would like to leave a review about our week trip to Sri-Lanka. My boyfriend and I stayed at Sheraton Kosgoda hotel from 21.01.24 till 28.01.24. The level of service in the hotel is high. We both appreciate everything here: beach, food, staff (is especially friendly), location. I am also grateful to Danish, a friendly guy from Dream Tours. He took us everywhere we wanted and showed the local sights, explained everything. He made our vacation memorable and comfortable. He pleased us with some extra discounts (for example, in Aurverdha center, in front of hotel). I highly recommend him as a reliable local guide. Thank you a lot ❤️

I would love to recommend this hotel if you traveling to Sri Lanka. The ambience, service, team, activities everything was top notch. We throughly enjoyed the hospitality provided by Ms. Peiris and hope to make it back to this property in future.

From the moment we arrived we were spoiled ! The manager Tharangi Darshi peiris greeted us and personally welcomed us. She offered special meals for my baby, I’m vegan and the kitchen team made vegan options for breakfast and dinner. Ms Tharangi Darshi peiris gave us recommendations on where to go locally and for our next hotel when we moved to a different part of the country. The hotel is lovely with nice rooms, view, staff and pool. There are several restaurants and bar and a billiards table which can be used for free. A five star stay with five star service !

The service and hospitality shown to us during our stay was impeccable. Tharangi and Kaminda were personable and accommodating, they made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. You could see the outstanding service flowed throughout the entire hotel, from Mano - General Manager to the entire staff. The Sheraton is an extremely hospitable hotel. Thank you Sheraton, Kosgoda for an amazing stay.
