It's not a hotel, it's a B&B. Book a suite. We were given a private room without breakfast. But you can cook and eat there. It doesn’t feel as good as expected

5 stars in all categories – cost/what you get ratio is just great! Especially to highlight is the extraordinary friendly, supportive and thoughtful staff. With Lavender Lodge as your first destination on Sabah, Borneo, you will be able to spend your time well if you already have a plan what to do or not. You can always ask and you are helped. ３階個室に4泊しました。 何も考えずに空港から直行したら、13時で、まだお部屋の用意ができてないから、5分待って、とのこと。 チェックイン前に来たのに、とても優しい対応でした。 待つ間に荷物を預かってもらい、昼食をとって13:30頃戻ったら、部屋に入れました。 日帰りツアーの手配もスムーズだったし、バスでの観光場所への行き方も提案してくれます。 スタッフは女性ばかりで、皆さん笑顔が素敵な方ばかり。 つたない英語を話す私にも、とても優しく話しかけてくれました。 ロビーで見かけた人の大半は欧米系でした。 ３階個室はシャワーの出がイマイチ、という口コミもどこかでみた通りでした(笑)。 街中なので、夜も外が賑やかでしたが、毎日出歩いて疲れはてていたので、気になりませんでした。 もう少しお金を出せばホテルに宿泊することもできましたが、街歩きを楽しみたかった私には最適な提案をしてもらえ、良い選択だったと思います。
