This hotel was the most satisfying of our entire trip to Thailand:
1. The front desk service was warm and professional.
2. The weekend band performances were excellent.
3. The themed rooms had great views and excellent facilities.
4. The pool was absolutely massive, well-maintained, and very clean.
5. The hotel offered a wide range of activities suitable for both adults and children.
The only downsides: Firstly, we booked the tennis court for an hour and were charged 600 Thai Baht, but the court's condition wasn't very good. We felt that a court like that wasn't worth the charge. Secondly, from my personal perspective, the hotel's breakfast wasn't quite to my taste. I didn't care for the cold dishes, and I prefer a half-buffet, half-à la carte style.

We have had the most wonderful stay at Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, and the whole experience has been absolutely fantastic.
The resort itself is beautiful — peaceful, luxurious and surrounded by stunning scenery. The grounds are immaculate, the swimming pool is incredible, and there is such a relaxing atmosphere throughout the entire hotel. It really feels like a true escape.
The staff deserve a special mention. Everyone we have encountered has been incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive, always greeting us with a smile and going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The service has genuinely made such a difference.
Our room was lovely, comfortable and spacious, and the whole resort is exceptionally clean and well maintained. There is a real attention to detail that you would expect from Sofitel.
The breakfast is also excellent, with a great choice of food and something for everyone. However, there were not many vegetarian options available, so it would be wonderful to see a wider selection of vegetarian dishes. This is only a small point, though, and certainly didn’t spoil our stay.
Overall, we have absolutely loved our time here. Sofitel Krabi is a beautiful resort with wonderful staff, excellent facilities and a genuinely relaxing atmosphere. We would happily return and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special stay in Krabi.

We had a great family holiday, with a good location, beautiful beach, and amazing pool and garden. However, for a 5-star hotel, the rooms, especially the bathrooms, are in urgent need of renovation.

On the first day, I specifically requested a room that wasn't dark and damp, but they still gave us a ground floor room. They claimed it was a complimentary upgrade to a family room with two extra beds, but it was completely different from the room type we booked. We had reserved a room with one large bed and bunk beds. While exploring the hotel, I noticed that all the rooms of the type we booked were sun-facing, yet we were given a non-sun-facing, very damp room with a moldy smell. Our complaints and attempts to communicate were unsuccessful, so we reluctantly stayed for three days. It felt like there was national discrimination; they were very unfriendly towards Chinese guests. A truly disappointing Sofitel stay.
