Summary: A surprising resort hotel, much better than the photos and imagination, suitable for vacation. Room: The "Sea View Bungalow" room type booked is a small independent villa close to the sea. The balcony can face the sea and is comfortable enough to fall asleep; there is a corridor when entering the room, with a bedroom on one side (the space is quite large) and a small room on the other side. The restaurant and bathroom are separated from wet and dry areas. Cute animals: There are several beautiful stray cats in the yard, and one of them is very clingy. The staff there named it tiger. After breakfast, I met it, and after petting it, it would turn its belly. It was very cute. In the afternoon we I specially took a boat out to the 7-11 convenience store in Krabi Town and bought him two bags of cat food. It was very cheap at 65 baht. I regret not buying more at that time. After feeding him, you call him and he will come out and talk to you. Play, very smart! It’s super cute and usually appears during the day. The cat food is given to the restaurant staff. Friends who like meows can refer to it~ There are also cute little goats, birds, and chickens Entering the island and going to the hotel: Take a boat to a small island at the Krabi Town Pier. The river is not wide. It takes about 3 minutes to get there. The boat fare is 40-60 baht (depending on the number of people). After landing, take a tuk-tuk to the hotel. (About 15-20 minutes) (If you make a reservation with the hotel in advance, someone will come to the pier to take you) (After that, we rented a motorcycle by ourselves when we went out and the hotel can rent it); Regarding getting out of the island: The same method as above; if you want to go to town on the way, you can take their tutuk (200 baht one way), or rent a motorcycle by yourself (300 baht for unlimited rides a day, quite cost-effective). Getting out of the island is still a bit troublesome, if you only want If you want to take a vacation, you can arrange a longer time, it is really comfortable; if you also want to go to Ao Nang Beach or other places, you can arrange to stay here for 2-3 days; Without leaving the island: Massage, fitness, infinity swimming pool, meals, drinks, smoothies, bars, beaches, walking, and taking photos are all available in the hotel. The facilities are relatively complete, so you don’t have to go out. About this island: There is only one hotel on this island. It is a little isolated and more like a countryside. The villagers here are quite simple and friendly. The air is very good and there are many tropical vegetation and woods. However, the tourist facilities are not perfect and there is no convenience on the island. Stores, pharmacies, snacks, etc. If you need to buy daily necessities, etc., before boarding the ship (buy at 7-11 near the pier); We rode around the island on our own, and it felt more relaxed and comfortable. There were goats and kittens everywhere; once we met a few monkeys, they were all cute. The cat in the picture is tiger

Highly recommended for people who want to come and relax. Very suitable. Take beautiful photos from every angle Recommended to rent a motorbike. (Don't think about cycling. It's very far.) Go to the hotel to eat roti in the village or you can call a tricycle in the community to take you around the island. There are a lot of activities to do.

We started our 3 week Thailand holiday at this resort. We had a 3 night stay, and absolutely loved the peace and quiet. The pool area was fantastic and most of our time was spent here. The only downside was lack of service at the pool and bar. Until 6 pm we always had to go into the bar for service. Also, no beach. But it was in no way a deal breaker for us. Would definitely recommend this resort for a short stay.

Lovely hotel away from Krabi town. A tuk tuk and long tail boat to get into town, about 30 mins. Bungalows are quirky, love it. Lovely swimming pool, and grounds are lovely. There is no entertainment at night at all. This is a really quiet location. Not ideal for kids really as they could get bored easily, although there are a couple here at the moment. A lot of time at the pool side.menu is the same lunchtime and Evening. Wish they do a separate lunch menu, pretty boring really. No pizza or toasted sandwiches, which would be nice. We are only here 4 nights 5 days, but it is enough for us. Maybe on mainland Krabi it may be different. Also hotel is surrounded by beach, but not suitable for swimming!

Our stay at Islanda Hideaway Resort on Koh Klang was an experience of pure bliss and relaxation. This resort is a peaceful haven, thoughtfully integrated into its natural surroundings, promoting an impressive eco-concept and support for the local community. The twenty-nine bungalows inspired by southern Thai culture provided a comfortable and stylish base for our stay. We were amazed by the attention to detail, with each bungalow offering modern amenities without compromising the essence of Thai simplicity and beauty. What set Islanda apart was its remarkable seclusion. It felt like we were in our own private paradise, far from the crowds, which allowed us to dive deep into the local culture. The food was simply delicious, giving us a genuine taste of Thailand's exquisite flavors. The cherry on top was the resort's infinity pool, located right on the beach, where we enjoyed some of the most stunning sunsets we've ever seen. Islanda Hideaway Resort is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a romantic honeymoon, a peaceful couple’s retreat, or a family getaway to relax and explore. We're already planning our next visit!

This was a gem of a place, all alone on its own island with fabulous views and a very peaceful setting. The General Manager was delightful ( even making all the fabulous floral displays for Valentines himself) as was the restaurant manager and staff (only the bar manager was rude and unwelcoming) Lovely pool and restaurant and despite being full seemed very quiet with no trouble getting loungers etc. Floating bean bags a nice touch, ocean view bungalow was terrific . Would definitely come again

A beautiful location avoiding all hustle and bustle. Access via long boat. Perfect for a few days of tranquility!! Rooms, pool and restaurant all very good. The staff were friendly and had happy smiles during all conversations. Probably not recommended for a long stays but perfect to unwind.

Very calm resort. Not too many cabins/room so never seemed to crowded. Infinity saltwater pool is very nice - and the view is great. Besides a range of trips found by the front desk, there is really not much to do but to relax… and for that this place is perfect. Crew were very friendly and helpful - helping with all needs. Restaurant with nice view and breeze from the ocean. Food was ok, but not top of class - but the waiters are great. Prices are a bit high (not over the top) but as there are nowhere else to go it seems a fair business strategy :). We got a whole cabin for a family of 4. Plenty of space for us - and the rooms were clean. I can recommend the mangrove tour - 3 hours boat trip with stops.

What a hidden beauty!! Tucked into the corner of a small island, this resort is a gem. The breathtaking sea views make for a fantastic evening by the beach with drinks :). The infinity pool has the same sea view which is mesmerising. The massages offered are very reasonably priced. The food options, albeit slightly limited, are well prepared. A must visit for those just looking to relax, detox and disconnect from the world! Oh and those wanting to do the island tours, should definitely do it with these guys and not pre-book tours since travelling to the pick up points can be tricky whereas if you book via hotel, they will arrange for the wntire travel.

Quiet setting. It matches what it is advertised. It's a small island and no tourist shops, you can cycle (complimentary bike) or get a tuk tuk to take you around, if you want to, but it's worthwhile for just disconnecting and hanging out in villa or by the pool. Transfers via long boat easy to negotiate. Staff brilliant, massage fantastic. Food is simple and done well. Clean & spacious villas breezeway connecting eating area to open air shower/toilet. Separate eating area. Could use a mattress topper as the bed is quite hard.

Everything about Islanda Hideaway Resort is absolutely perfect. It's not an easy place to travel to as on an island around 40 mins away from Krabi town but hotel made all the arrangements and everything was seamlessly organised. The resort itself is so charming, with beautiful bungalows arranged around a well manicured garden setting. The trees and plants are beautiful. The interiors of the rooms are well planned and charming and a lot of care been taken by management down to the last detail. The outdoor showers are fabulous and large and all amenities are available from gowns to pool towels and pool slippers. There is a gym, stunning 25m length infinity pool overlooking the Andaman sea and other islands and beach chairs scattered around which suits everyone's needs. Congratulations team. Your resort is amazing. The food is of the highest standard and staff are so kind, friendly and helpful.

Amazing staff, fabulous clean accommodation, lovely food, limited drinks menu. Only thing that let it down was the brown sea as the bay is very shallow. Never experienced so many mosquito bites despite using repellent supplied free by hotel, otherwise would have given it 5 star

This hotel has lots of potential and as the hotel name suggests, it is in the middle of nowhere, very remote and quiet. Good - Lovely pool Friendly staff (though sometimes communication was a issue) Good trips organised from the hotel The views and feeling of nature is amazing Negatives- Bugs everywhere! We got bitten a lot, and visually you can see mosquitoes everywhere, all through balcony and inside room. The two separate areas of the bungalow meant always going outside meaning exposure to the mosquitos every time. The restaurant/bar is more expensive than your average Thai restaurant, and this does seem a little unfair as it is your only option. Suggestions of improvement- On site shop (local island produce, fruit etc) Hot water for baths on the balcony and privacy screen for baths on the balcony Breakfast - making it clear that they will freshly Prepare eggs (scrambled/omelette) - no one likes cold fried eggs There are restaurants on the island - they are not touristy at all, but would make a nice change of scenery.. hotel could make the communication/transfers easy. Recommendations - local tuk tuk island tour really good and gives you a good sense of where you are and the local people. If you want peace, tranquility and access to nature this is for you.
