The hotel has a simple but not simple style. People who like it will naturally like it. After checking in, I even changed my itinerary and chose to stay again. The hotel reserved the same room for us, which touched us very much.

Tolles Hotel, nur einen Katzensprung von der Grenze und Deutschland weg. Schöne und saubere Zimmer. Gratis Mineral-Wasser im Zimmer, Gratis PP vor dem Haus, die Velos konnten wir in der Tiefgarage täglich laden, Top. Frühstücksbuffet mit allem, was mein braucht für einen guten Start in den Tag. Freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Besten Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Nice, clean hotel right on the German border and Lake Constance. The rooms are large and clean and the breakfast is plentiful by Swiss standards. The only thing missing is the view of Lake Constance. That is only available in the most expensive category. What a pity

On the surface the hotel seems nice and comfortable but that is only in appearance. It can be hot in Switzerland, even very hot (＞ 30°C) so you should know that air conditioning does not exist in Switzerland (read several times in my hotel searches...) and this one is no exception. not to the rule. There are no fans in the rooms either, so it quickly becomes an ordeal. We have stayed in this hotel for 1 to 2 nights over the last few years. But now: You have to book for four nights :-( Some guests only want to stay in this area for a weekend. The whole thing is not exactly customer friendly! There are 5 star hotels where you only have to book 2 nights. The hotel industry is shooting itself in the foot with this kind of pressure!

There are still "real" single rooms here - unfortunately I only ever get this room category. The room itself is completely fine - and everything you want and need is there, it's fine. The railway line runs directly behind the hotel, which is why you have to close the window from 4:46 a.m.
