Mercure Hotel Trion – Stay from 20–23 Feb I stayed here with my family for three nights. Overall the stay was okay and the hotel was generally clean, which made it comfortable enough for a short trip. The main issue we experienced was the air-conditioning. Even when set to 18°C, the room didn’t feel cold at all, especially at night. Service was a bit inconsistent depending on who you spoke to. When I first asked about parking, a female staff member told me it would be RM10 and that the rate could be adjusted at checkout since I was staying for several days. I confirmed with her that it would still be RM10 even if we entered and exited multiple times. However, when I checked out and handed over my Touch ‘n Go card, another staff member informed me that it was actually RM10 per entry. After I explained what I had been told earlier, he apologized and kindly waived the parking fee for me this time. Aside from that confusion, the stay was generally fine. If you’re looking for a clean and decent place to stay, this hotel is still a reasonable option.

Everything was almost perfect. The staff, the location, the services provided. Just a comment for improvement for breakfast. My omelette and scrambled eggs taste quite weird so i couldn’t finish it. Probably to add a bit of choices for main dishes expect from fried rice and fried mee. Overall it was a good experience.

The location wise is good for those are travelling to rawang and Kepong or even Gombak. Because it’s consider in the middle of the area mentioned above. Then in the morning for me going to rawang, it is against the traffic so it’s a strategic place for me. For food actually can go further down to Kepong but the traffic is really hectic. But it is worth to stay there The cleanliness should be improve for the carpet in the room. For toilet it’s good enough.

I've stayed here three times for business trips, mainly because there are no better options in the vicinity. This lack of competition, unfortunately, seems to lead to subpar service and hygiene. The first time I stayed, in a twin room, both duvet covers were dirty. One had unwashed bloodstains, and the other had three foot-like marks. I had to call twice and even go down to the front desk once before someone finally came to replace them! On my third stay, the towels in the cabinet under the sink had a strong mildew smell and were unusable. The amenity box was chipped, and the shower hose was broken. The in-room Wi-Fi signal was also very poor and kept disconnecting. Honestly, there are just too many issues! But due to its location, I have no choice but to stay here. I really hope they improve!
