The hotel staff called me on the morning of check-in date to remind me of my booking and to confirm my check-in time. There’s a touch of attentiveness in this gesture. The family room is value for money for two nights’ stay in a strategic location (near Kuala Terengganu Chinatown). The hotel does not have its own car park; parking is the public parking bays along the street (daily rates are applicable but we didn’t have to pay because our stay was during the public holidays and the weekend). Our request for four single beds was fulfilled. Overall, we had a comfortable stay in this hotel. Just a bit of advice for future guests: There’s no elevator service in the building. Hence, please do not rate this hotel badly because of this fact. This hotel is near a mosque/ surau, so morning prayers can be heard clearly. Whilst this does not bother my family (this is after all rather common in Malaysia), light sleepers should take note. Again, please do not rate this hotel badly because of the morning prayers being heard.

The only good thing about this place is the free water. We’d paid a lot more than we usually would for a budget accommodation so we were expecting a nice place. We drew the short straw and were given the room right at the front of the hotel meaning our full room lit up red from the sign above the hotel, also it was near impossible to sleep as it’s on a main road and the cars go past very fast and very loudly. Other than this the WiFi didn’t work and the air con was rubbish. On our second day we’d struggled to get into contact with the hotel to explain our dissatisfaction but they were ignoring our whats app messages and no body was on reception. When we finally spoke to them they didn’t seem bothered, they said the WiFi was broken and that they had no other rooms to move us to, they didn’t even offer a refund or to move us to there other hotel. The customer service here is rubbish and if you pay for WiFi you should 100% have WiFi and if not you should be entitled to a small refund or discount.

I had the pleasure of returning to YT Midtown Kuala Terengganu for a second time, and once again, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. This hotel continues to deliver exceptional value, comfort, and top-notch service that left me feeling completely satisfied. Having previously enjoyed my first stay, I had high expectations, and I’m pleased to say that YT Midtown did not disappoint. The affordable price for such a comfortable and well-appointed room is truly remarkable. It’s evident that the hotel places a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction, as the level of service remained consistently excellent during both of my stays. The staff at YT Midtown once again demonstrated their professionalism and warmth, making me feel like a valued guest. It’s evident that they genuinely care about ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay for every visitor. The fact that they go above and beyond to maintain this level of service is truly commendable. Just like my previous visit, the inclusive breakfast was a delightful highlight. The range of options and the quality of the food remained impressive, adding to the overall value of my stay. Starting my days with a delicious breakfast was a wonderful way to kickstart each day of exploration and relaxation. The room itself was a haven of comfort, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail and cleanliness were consistent with my previous stay, showcasing the hotel’s commitment to providing a comfortable and enjoyable environment for its guests. YT Midtown’s convenient location continues to be a major plus, allowing easy access to the city’s attractions and amenities. Whether I was venturing out to explore the local culture or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll in the surrounding area, the hotel’s location added to the convenience and enjoyment of my stay.

Not worth the price.! needed alot of upgrades.. Room is okay but dont have mirror and have weird smell.. Toilet very old and not clean, dont have sink , towel hanger and mirror.. Second night elevator breakdown.. As i'm staying with elders they cant use stairs have to change to other hotel on that night.. With the price we paid totally not recommended..

Good hotel in the center of KT Town..hotel and room a bit outdated but the room was spacious and clean..basic amenities provided..eateries and KTCC mall just walking distance..breakfast just ok and towel a bit thin

It was a short visit to kuala terengganu.the hotel located at the heart of the city.it is surrounded by mutliple restaurants.very close to pantai batu burok. Every attractions are like less than an hour drive. Hotel room is comfortable. Air cond and shower functioning well.

The place is ok .. not very clean, not very dirty .. just a bit noisy because there is a badminton court, right .. because I have a newborn .. but overall it's ok, no complain because there's no hotel holiday, right

Situated between Marang and Kuala Terangganu on the east coast of Malaysia, Che Beach House was an unequaled gem of a place for us in the uncertainty of the covid-19 shutdowns worldwide. The hosts could not do enough for us to keep us safe and informed of developments, particularly in Malaysia. Che Beach House is a small guesthouse with a small number of rooms, placed directly on the top of the beach. It is relatively new. We were allocated a nicely decorated queen-bed airconditioned room, which was on the lower floor. It was exceptionally clean and the bed comfortable. The room had a wardrobe and towel airing rack. There was no television. There is no breakfast available, but we had full use of the small kitchen. No cooktop, but there was a full-sized refrigerator with freezer, toaster, electric kettle and microwave. There was unlimited hot and cold filtered water available from a free standing dispenser. There was a Treleaf supermarket within walking distance to buy any needed groceries. Outdoors, there was a covered area for us to park our hire car so it was off the street at night. Two outdoor sitting areas, one part of the building itself and a pergola with chairs coffee table and hammock directly on the top of the beach. A perfect place to sit with a cup of coffee or tea and catch the sea breeze. Chris removes garbage from their stretch of beach nearly daily. It seems to be washed in on the tide. Neighbours played with children in the afternoon, but other than that I never saw anyone else on the beach. It was windy when we were there, so though the sea was clean, clear and enticing to look at, we deemed it too rough to swim. The sand is course and golden. Still pleasant to walk on for an early morning or late afternoon stroll. We would especially like to thank the hosts for a very pleasant, quiet and relaxing stay. Chris, thank you so much for the kindness shown and advice given when it became obvious we would have to return to Australia. We fully intend to return when all the covid-19 madness is over and continue our journey through Malaysia.
