It is a new refurbished hotel. The room is not so spacious but has a nice and simple but modern design. Not very near to the Kuching Waterfront (1km approx).

Terrible service and noise!! Walls are very thin, in the first morning I got woken up by a very loud and consistent noise, checked with the front desk and they said it’s the exhaust. Why would they let anyone stay in the room when they know there is know the noise will be an issue. I got a change of room but that night there was an event going on and the music was so loud even at 12.30am that I have to text the reception and they say they will inform them to turn down the volume. It was still so loud and only stopped at 1.30am. Hotel was not even much apologetic about the situation. Didn’t even bother to reply and say sorry. I think they should have informed their guests of the noise, especially check in if we will be able to accept the noise. I’m here for holiday and a good sleep. This is very upsetting. Do not book if you are looking for a good rest.

Untrustworthy hotel. Housekeeping stole/ throw away my belongings. Not worth it. Better stay at other hotels.

Great stay at Theatre Hotel. Rooms were clean. Can get a little noisy from the main road.

Title: Noisy Environment Hinders Restful Stay If you're easily disturbed by noise, it's best to steer clear of this hotel. Our room faced a busy road, and the soundproofing was inadequate. The relentless roar of motorcycles at night is enough to drive you insane. Just when you manage to drift off to sleep around 2 a.m., you're rudely awakened at 6 a.m. by the cacophony of traffic outside. It's impossible to get a decent night's rest. If noise doesn’t bother you at all, then this is a hotel that you can consider with the location near to Center of the town and it’s clean and comfortable.

Overall ok. The hotel is new renovation.

I could have chosen a closer hotel, but I really liked the hotel itself. I lived in two rooms because I didn’t know how long I would stay. I also booked one night on Trip.com. Each room has different posters. The only thing I found was the noise from the road. The room is very very cozy. Backlight one hundred out of a hundred!! There are all the necessary bathroom amenities.
