Hotel Sunroute Kumamoto Reviews

The room is in the downtown area and it is very lively at night. Kumamoto is not big and you can walk there. The room is a bit old. I booked the hotel during the holidays and paid a three times premium, but overall it is okay.

The hotel is in a good location. It's very close to Domachisuji Station (trams and city buses), very close to Shopping Street (very close to Kamishatori Shopping Street), and close to Kumamoto Castle. The room is quite new. I will stay here again next time.

The hotel is very convenient for walking on the inner street of Shangxiatong in the prosperous district. It's just that the hotel is a bit old. There is a discount for parking at the parking lot near the hotel. You only need to pay 1,000 yen a night. Breakfast is divided into times and the food is rich and sufficient.

This is a conveniently located hotel where you can stay casually. Although the check-in time was late, the front desk staff was kind.

It's in a good location and is full of restaurants. I thought it would be nicer if there was a bathtub.

Good dinner, selected quality ingredients. The onsen water is not very hot, just right. Sleep in a Japanese bedroom so early The bathroom has a strong pee smell.

The bathroom exhaust fan is not working and the facilities are a bit old

It can't be helped that it's old, but I was concerned about the discoloration of the bathroom drain. It was nice to be able to turn the shower on and off with a button, but when I turned it off and took a shower, the hot water came out and it was hot. It's nice to save water and not have to adjust the temperature, but it's dangerous.

Smoking rooms are the worst

For its price and location. It''s an unbeatable choice. When I choice a business hotel, location and price are the key. I just need a place to shower and sleep. I don't need to spend money on those fancy stuff like a grand lobby... Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff . . I can't ask for more from a business hotel. Good breakfast is a nice plus here.

I have been sticking with Sunroute for a few years now. This in one of the better Sunroute in the Sunroute hotel chain. Good friendly staff, clean, and room is bigger then the usual busniess hotel. Good breakfast! The room got some nice Japanese design which is quite nice . . considering most value business hotel got pretty much plain and undistinct design.
