Cool location can see nice castle view from room window. However to visit the castle you will need to walk about 10 to 15min from the hotel to gate to buy tickets. Luckily weather is nice and cool during our period of visit. Overall good experience. Parking at hotel also very convenient too.

The location of the hotel is super close to the Castle but requires some walking if you are heading to the main shopping streets. The view was great and I enjoyed breakfast with the view. Receptionists were helpful and friendly. Parking was available with 1000yen. However, the room is highly non-soundproof, as I can hear a guy snoring next door the whole night as well as hear them opening the door and talking, which had caused me a really bad night sleep.

It is very good for family trip. Location is perfect. It is very nearby Kumamoto Castle. You can do hiking and visiting Kumamoto Castle. Traffic is Good and convenient. Have bus, taxi. You can see the Kumamoto Castle directly from your room.

The hotel is relatively old overall, but the service is really good and the location is excellent. Recommended! 1. The hotel is not far from JR Kumamoto, but taxis are not cheap and cost about 1,500 yen. However, taxis have many payment methods, which is considered convenient; 2. You can see Kumamoto Castle from the front entrance of the hotel. The next two pictures were taken at the hotel, but it takes 5-800 meters to walk to the entrance, which is very close; 3. The hotel is very close to the main commercial street, and also very close to the very famous tonkatsu restaurant (Shenglietei), about one kilometer; 4. I asked the hotel front desk to help book a taxi. They were very considerate and communicated the destination clearly with the driver (I cannot speak Japanese well). The service was really good; 5. The hotel catering ends early, at 20.30. You can eat outside before returning to the hotel. There are not many breakfast varieties. 6. The facilities are slightly outdated, please choose carefully if you mind; 7. The picture shows a room with a Kumamoto city view. It is quite large, and the mineral water in the hotel is also very fun.

Although the room I stayed in was not facing the castle, I was happy to be able to see the majestic castle tower up close from the dining room and elevator.

It was very good. The elevator was made of glass, and the view of Kumamoto Castle directly in front was spectacular. The sink in the unit bath had hot water coming out quickly, so it was sometimes difficult to put my clothes down when I took a bath, but the wash area was spacious and I was able to put my clothes down. The view from the breakfast restaurant was amazing, with a view of Kumamoto Castle right in front of me. For this price and good location, I'd like to use this again.

Because the pickles are so delicious, I am sorry to ask for another bowl. If there is edamame in it, I will buy it home Hahaha, it was a very good experience, and the office of the mayor of Kumamoto is also easy to find within a 10-minute walk.

I took a twin castle view room for myself, but the price was cheap for a room without meals, so I'm very satisfied. If you walk for about 10 minutes, the location is good in the downtown area. The parking lot is 1000 yen a day. Amenity DHC's small lotion was placed, and shampoo, treatment, and body soap were also DHC. Comes with a humidifier. A feeling of cleanliness is perfect, too. There was a 500ml plastic bottle of water from Shirakawa Suigen, a kettle that boiled water, and stick-type coffee and tea. The vending machine was also on my floor on the same floor. I got a donut stick at check-in, and the staff's response was good. Phone support was good too.
