Asantewaa Premier Hotel

Kumasi
I've stayed in many places in Ghana, but Asantewaa Premier has to be one of the best! I had an airport pickup and was greeted with fresh coconuts! ( I requested this). I had a smooth check in and was greeted with polite front desk staff. I was also impressed with how fresh and nicely decorated my room was. The room was cleaned daily, the sheets were fresh and bedding was well made with towel made swans. From my experience in other hotels in Ghana this was the best bedding I had, it was extremely clean and fresh. The shower was also a really good size with a spacious shower and good water pressure. I enjoyed the daily breakfast, especially the fresh made pineapple and ginger juice. In the evening I enjoyed drinks at the Asantewaa premier bar, the bartender made me a good cocktail for me and my wife. I also enjoyed having dinner at the Asantewaa premier restaurant where I tried traditional Ghanaian food for the first time, as a Carribbean I was very impressed! I also enjoyed the traditional Ghanaian music that played in the bar during the day and at night the music and atmosphere at the bar was nice. I requested a tour guide before arriving at the hotel and the tour guide was friendly and took me sight seeing in Kumasi. He took us many places such as a Kente village and a place where they show you how to make ink from trees!! I also requested to have my clothes pressed and was very impressed with how quick and well done it was. The staff overall were very polite. I'll be staying here again when I come back to Kumasi and honestly if you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable and relaxing stay then Asantewaa Premier is the one to book.

The staff were so kind, great service and hospitality from everyone, the amenities were very nice and I had such a comfortable and safe time here. Very homey stay and the food was really good too. Not too far from many amenities and the staff will get you a taxi if needed. It was especially helpful as a young person traveling solo and visiting Africa for the first time to be welcomed and taken care of so well.

This was our second visit and was once again an enjoyable experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were immaculate. When we did have an issue with a plumbing problem, it was resolved quickly. We are planning another stay in May and look forward to it.

The hotel is newly opened, so it looks clean, and the exterior walls are brightly colored... Facilities: Simple Health: Very good Environment: There is a dirt road in front of the hotel, which is relatively flat and not bumpy. Service: Average, the front desk is not open 24 hours a day Africa is pretty good
Golden Tulip Kumasi City

The experience during the Valentine's day this year was mind blowing. I did enjoy the fact that the atmosphere was vibrant enough for a first timer visiting the plush Hotel. I loved the serenity of the pool outing and the surreal voices of the singers who took us to the old times with the likes of Daasebr3 DWAMENA, Kojo Antwi and Daddy Lumba. Climaxing for me was the fact they sang Asa's Jailor. A vintage classic. Early morning's buffet breakfast is one of the best with all kinds of meals at our disposal. I'd had double servings. And enjoyed the atmosphere. It's pretty much convenient for a pass through and to have a peaceful day ready to roll. Golden Tulip Hotel does live up to their name when it comes to excellent hospitality services. Thankfully Evans from sales department was there to help me acquaint with the familiarities of the place. Aside that everyone of the waiters around were just so nice and homely. Hopefully I return soon!!!
