We were a group of six and booked a weekend room. It was quite popular. The toiletries and perfumes were all luxury brands. Afternoon tea, evening sweet soup, welcome fruit, cola, soda water, milk and other drinks were simply endless. Everything you can think of was arranged. The butler service was absolutely in place. They took the initiative to communicate with us before we checked in and established a five-person service team. The main focus was comfort and casualness. You couldn't feel their presence during your stay. Once you had a need or request, you would speak in the group, and the message would be replied in seconds and solved immediately. At this time, you would find that he (she) was by your side. The best place to relax and unwind on weekends, it is worth recommending!

The facilities are complete, clean, tidy and warm. The proprietress is warm and thoughtful. She upgraded our room for free. When we left, she also gave us a bag of local specialty - socks cake. Thank you 🙏 The transportation is convenient, especially close to the main street. Next time I go, I will choose this store again.

A very cosy and comfortable one night stay at this place inside of Zhou Zhuang, an ancient town/place of attraction. Literally, the most enjoyable stay during my trip to Suzhou and Shanghai. From interior design to decoration, amenities and facilities as well as the owner, one word to describe our stay- fantastic! The owner was very helpful and easy going. She helped us find a good and humourous driver to Shanghai at a reasonable price. And resolved my problem with the WeChat payment issue. Come and stay at this place when you plan a visit to Zhou Zhuang.

Great little place to stay. I booked the room with a balcony view. Enjoyed sitting on the chairs in the morning and evening. Mosquito netting around the bed is perfect for a good night sleep. Overall I would love to come back here again.
No issue with Food Delivery into the park. Hotel staff were helpful in arranging Taxi Service to Oriental Land Station (100RMB).
Enjoyed the shops and plenty to do over a couple days if you like to take your time strolling leisurely. Also traveled to Suzhou canals near Qilishantang and Pingjiang which are great as well.

Room has an ageing look with dusts, bathroom is a bit mouldy. We came during winter and the room was like a chiller and took some time to warm up. The owner arranged his staff to pick us up on foot from a meeting point outside the ancient town as cars aren’t able to enter. However, his staff didn’t lead us back to the same pick up point even if had requested for help. We lost our way and thankfully my car driver was able to locate us. We booked a room for 4 but amenities were arranged for 2 only. We have to request for extra from bathroom items to pillows. Will consider other modern guests houses at the edge of the water village for the same price.

WWangfanIn the ancient town of Zhouzhuang, there is a full-style ”Mailun Academy”. This is a late Qing Dynasty building with a high-walled triple courtyard. It was once the former residence of Shen Tilan, a patriotic democrat and famous educator. The ancient buildings along the river exude a unique style after careful renovation. Living here feels like home, the care taken is considerate, and I feel the surprise beyond the beautiful scenery! The hand-brewed coffee and old white tea are unforgettable, and I look forward to coming back next time!

The overall environment is very beautiful and the layout is very nice! I like it very much, the room is also very clean and comfortable, and they also helped us upgrade to a twin room with an outdoor courtyard for free~
The courtyard of the B&B is also very beautiful, very suitable for sitting in it and drinking tea to relax, and there are many places to take pictures hahaha, but it's a pity that we checked in late and the courtyard was no longer open. I will definitely stay here next time I go to Zhouzhuang! !

GGuest UserOne of our favorite places. Really a great stay. The lady who runs the place is super nice. Room had cool exotic decorations and furniture. The balcony was nice although not much to see but done roof tops.
Location is great. You have to pay 100 rmb to enter the city before you walk a few blocks to hotel. Right next to double bridge which is famous because of an old painting but otherwise no big desk. Indeed there were other double bridges and more picturesque bridges.
Only drawback was no breakfast at all. So you need to wander around and find a restaurant. We madd the mistake of ordering coffee from a coffee shop. Despite 35rmb - more expensive than in US it was just an automatic machine - not barista made, and couldn’t even taste much coffee. This has nothing to do with the hotel but it was a ripoff.
Another good thing about the hotel was they have another business of historical clothes rental with makeup and photography. It turned out great.

Yesterday afternoon, I went to Kunshan and set Vienna first. As a result, the Vienna personally felt that it was selling dog meat. From the appearance of the hotel to the interior, it was a mess, and I changed places decisively. Because I have to invite people to eat at night, I just look at the score and don’t pay attention to the price. When I arrive at the place, I still have a little mutter. Will it be a high score obtained by brushing the score? As a result, I entered the room. Except for the space is slightly smaller than Atour, everything else is in place, and even more pleasantly surprised is that this price has breakfast. And the breakfast is very good, outside the freshly cooked noodles, hot stir-fried vegetables, pickles, egg milk, etc., the breakfast is slightly worse than the Biyaduo, but the price is not at all Ado can be benchmarked, and the restaurant tableware is also very clean, far beyond the standard of this price.
In a word, it is really worth it. I hope the boss's business is booming and long-term.

DDamian GrayWe spent 3 nights at the Fairmont on Yangcheng Lake recently the second week of Chinese New Year. The hotel and accomodation was excellent. We were kindly upgraded to the Fairmont Gold floor and were fantastically looked after by the team there. The rooms were large, with good facilities and quality finishing (loved the shower especially). The hotel has massive gardens and outdoor activities to do (we did some Archery) and is linked to a farm as well. It also has an indoor pool and gym area too. With the weather so cold the outdoor activities were limited (no Kayaking etc). It would have been good if they had a table tennis / pool table / darts area for indoor activities. With the location there are no supermarkets or restaurants near by so you are restricted to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was expansive and great quality. The room service options were varied and good quality and they did have a Chinese restaurant open each night. The buffet restaurant is only open at night on the weekend. If we came again we would come in warmer weather when the water sports were open and the outdoor pool was open to really get the most out of the stay.

GGuest UserWe chose the Crowne Plaza for its Western restaurant. Upon inquiry we asked about the restaurants and was sent to the 5th floor restaurant that only serves local cuisine. Again we asked the 5th floor restaurant where we can enjoy Western food. We were sent back down to the first floor where we found the western restaurant had closed down. It was upsetting to be sent from place to place and not properly informed about dining options. We had to enjoy a mediocre dinner in the nearby shopping center. The occasion was planned for the guest's bridal celebration dinner since she's leaving China and will get married abroad. I'm sorely disappointed in the uninformed restaurant manager and would hardly recommend staying at the Kunshan Crowne as the other Crowne Plaza's I've stayed at was a much better experience.

GGuest UserLocation was perfect and also my initial consideration, right at the center of city. No much to expect except for those standard items example - service, cleanliness or comfortability therefore to my surprise, the rooms were cosy and clean (guessed it’s because they were newly renovated or not long ago) but, but except for some minor hiccups example - air conditioning controls (remote and wall mounted) + room WiFi needs pre-logging on before connectable (used my phone hotspot to fix problem)! Everything was fine until the next day slightly before checking out, they cut off my room electricity abruptly half an hour before checkout time! Imagine if you’re still using the bathroom! This needs serious attention as I have never encounter such scenarios before, in my entire life experience of travelings and staying in hotels. Never. Of course my booking came with the “late checkout privilege” so why the rush? Oh and they did offer an upgrade of room (when checking in) but, but with additional charges! Wondering if these misunderstandings were “intentional” or caused by miscommunication between the hotel management and platform, a sales technique? Please clarify: rewards enjoyable/ available after booking, if possible thank you
