The bedding is comfortable, the south facing the river sun room, the feeling of the pillow river people, getting up in the morning, the birds and flowers are fragrant, hidden in the treasure homestay in the countryside! The boss contacted me in advance to remind me that booking tickets online is more favorable, and also sent a direct location to the parking lot. The staff at the hotel is very attentive! Arrived in the afternoon to check in, 10 minutes drive to Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, very convenient.

The hotel has a beautiful environment, with vineyards, orange orchards, persimmon trees, racetracks, big white geese resting by the shore of Bibo Lake, sheep eating young grass, and the setting sun, everything looks so quiet, but the room facilities are simple and generally comfortable.

I compared several B&Bs near Zhouzhuang online before, and finally chose Mulan Wanqing (later I had dinner at Mulan Restaurant and chatted with the staff, and found that I was actually staying at Mulan Fanli. Wanqing is the newer B&B next door. The two are next to each other, with the same entrance and 9 rooms. Fanli is the owner's own house)
The main reason for choosing this one at that time was very interesting, because there was no air conditioning and water heater in the picture, and it was speculated that it used central air conditioning and centralized hot water system. Combined with the house area, it was speculated that the specifications were relatively high. Hehe, in fact, it confirmed the guess.
Parking is in the free Fuguiyuan parking lot, but it was unavailable when I arrived in the afternoon. The store directed me to the Dongzhuang parking lot, 20 per time, and the store helped me out. (Don't follow the local old lady, you may park too far away)
There are golf carts to pick up and drop off for check-in and check-out, which is very convenient.
The hotel is near the ticket gate of Shenting, which avoids the pain of dragging suitcases when staying in the scenic area, and provides another choice (the store buys tickets for 90 yuan, and you can go to the ticket gate to choose the inn to pay for it. The ticket can be entered and exited freely for three days. If you are not interested in visiting the scenic spot in the afternoon, you can not buy tickets, go in at 9 pm to see the night view, and enter the park before 7 am to stroll without buying tickets)
Walking in Shenting, I accidentally found that the room names of the B&B correspond to the eight scenic spots of Zhouzhuang. Ours is ”Ji Shui Yang Fan”, the owner is thoughtful.
The small courtyard of the B&B has fish ponds and so on. The new courtyard on the Wanqing side has a bit of Tang style, and there is a big moon where you can try ”Three People in the Shadow”.
The cat is called Chou Bao.
The B&B does not have breakfast, but there is a restaurant next door where you can have breakfast.
The socks bottom pastry is provided in the Mulan Restaurant in the scenic spot. The environment is also good. I like the second floor.

AAmberxiaoService: The boss is just the right temperature like the spring breeze. He is the reason why I wrote this long review. He is very attentive and hardworking in taking care of the guests. I traveled alone, and with the boss, I felt like I had a home in the local area, and I felt very safe. A girl herself would have safety issues. The boss would not interfere with your elusiveness, but would take care of your safety in moderation. It was really touching. The world is beautiful because of such people. I was so happy to grab the boss's snacks. The snack gift pack for the destined person was super delicious.
I love Zhouzhuang. The young operators of the shops are all very good~
Hygiene: Clean and tidy, the beds and bath towels are white as new, the floor, table and bathroom in the room are all new, and it can be seen that the boss is taking care of it very carefully

It was the little touches that made us feel special...example it was really hot and they brought us a complimentary Ice Lemon Tea which was so refreshing. And another day we were waiting for a taxi and they brought us each a bottle of water. Just so kind. And the rooms were so clean and well decorated. And loved the sheets, pillows and bed. Was so comfortable and had a great night's sleep. Overall a wonderful hotel and customer service experience.

Literally, the most enjoyable stay during my trip to Suzhou and Shanghai. From interior design to decoration, amenities and facilities as well as the owner, one word to describe our stay- fantastic! The owner was very helpful and easy going. She helped us find a good and humourous driver to Shanghai at a reasonable price. And resolved my problem with the WeChat payment issue. Come and stay at this place when you plan a visit to Zhou Zhuang.

DDamian GrayWe spent 3 nights at the Fairmont on Yangcheng Lake recently the second week of Chinese New Year. The hotel and accomodation was excellent. We were kindly upgraded to the Fairmont Gold floor and were fantastically looked after by the team there. The rooms were large, with good facilities and quality finishing (loved the shower especially). The hotel has massive gardens and outdoor activities to do (we did some Archery) and is linked to a farm as well. It also has an indoor pool and gym area too. With the weather so cold the outdoor activities were limited (no Kayaking etc). It would have been good if they had a table tennis / pool table / darts area for indoor activities. With the location there are no supermarkets or restaurants near by so you are restricted to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was expansive and great quality. The room service options were varied and good quality and they did have a Chinese restaurant open each night. The buffet restaurant is only open at night on the weekend. If we came again we would come in warmer weather when the water sports were open and the outdoor pool was open to really get the most out of the stay.

GGuest UserOne of our favorite places. Really a great stay. The lady who runs the place is super nice. Room had cool exotic decorations and furniture. The balcony was nice although not much to see but done roof tops.
Location is great. You have to pay 100 rmb to enter the city before you walk a few blocks to hotel. Right next to double bridge which is famous because of an old painting but otherwise no big desk. Indeed there were other double bridges and more picturesque bridges.
Only drawback was no breakfast at all. So you need to wander around and find a restaurant. We madd the mistake of ordering coffee from a coffee shop. Despite 35rmb - more expensive than in US it was just an automatic machine - not barista made, and couldn’t even taste much coffee. This has nothing to do with the hotel but it was a ripoff.
Another good thing about the hotel was they have another business of historical clothes rental with makeup and photography. It turned out great.

The biggest problem is that the elevators for guests and banquets are not distinguished. Going up and down the stairs is so slow that it makes you feel like your soul is leaving your body. The swimming pool and fitness floor may be outsourced, full of mixed feelings. There were too many people at the National Day breakfast, and the product and quality are not worthy of the five-star and the charge. The shared underground parking lot in the shopping mall is also quite chaotic during peak hours. The service is okay, and the waiters are busy and tired.
There are also advantages. The toilet basin and bathtub in the bathroom are new. The hotel is not expensive during the National Day holiday (less than 600 yuan per breakfast). The hotel is difficult to park during peak hours, but it is also because of the good location. It is very convenient to eat and drink in the mall, and it is also convenient to take out. The robot can deliver it to the door of the room. Leave the parking lot 30 minutes after registering the license plate.
