Very big hotel that looks a little run down from the outside. The room was a good size but it was baking hot. No fan in the room and with the window open it was a bit noisy. Great location though right next to the castle and a 5 minute walk into the city centre.

Stayed with mum and sister, initially allocated a floor on top floor, walking into the room, it felt as I’m staying in a Finnish sauna instead of a hotel room. When inquiring for a fan, none available. After some time, luckily they found a room on the ground floor which was just about bearable. (Another party had the same issue, but with their meeting room for a conference the following day) The lady in reception on the next morning treated me like I was a nuisance and rolled eyes when asking for an extra bed to be set up (confirmed prior to arrival). Last morning asked for ice from restaurant, got questioned where I’m taking it to and why I need it. The only good things about the hotel are the complimentary breakfast selection and the spa facilities (although, they could man the bar and clean up the towels/glasses when inconsiderate people leave them) Overall, would visit the spa again but would definitely not stay in the hotel again.

Hello! Its a honor to write a review about this hotel. Its quite nice, good location, especially for the people who want to look at the sea.Staff were pretty nice and welcoming. Waterpark was alright, the Japanase bath was intresting. Other than the waterpark there where a couple other activities which did sadly cost but nit much. A gym was also in the hotel but its quite bad and couldnt really get a workout in. Overall the hotel was good for its price and i really enjoyed staying here Best regards Him!

The hotel is now called ASA. I liked the hotel and spa center. Breakfast buffet. Delicious and varied. The rooms are good, there is enough space for two. There is no kettle or refrigerator. The pillows are small, one per person. The beds themselves are comfortable. The floors in the spa area are quite slippery; you can only walk safely on the dark blue floor. The water in the pool smells of chlorine, but not critically. But the hotel is warm, the water is hot and the surroundings are very beautiful. PS. Lunch and dinner are available at the hotel. The selection is limited, but the prices are reasonable.

The room was clean and modern, except no air con, kettle or fridge. It did have a TV though and the door opened all the way to let some fresh air in but as I was on the ground floor I couldn't leave it open while I was out of the room. Like most sliding doors in Estonia though it can be left so it's only open at the top. Breakfast was great although not much was topped up in three last hour. Coffee machines had medium or dark roast options and are in the room next to the rest of breakfast Spa was empty between 10-12am but busy in the evenings

The hotel is nice and clean but the breakfast is avarage as the spa and sauna atmosphere as well. So nothing bad but nothing outstanding either. So I would recommend rather other Spas than that Asa spa.

The location of the hotel is good. It is just beside the castle of Kuressaare and short walking distance from cafees and shops. Near to the beach. "Pros": + the size of the room is enough for 3 overnighters, 1 double bed and 1 single bed for a child + pleasant service at the restaurant during dinner +/- some servers are friendlier than others "Cons": - the trash can under the bathroom table has not been cleaned from the previous user - the hotel should be renovated, but the room we stayed in would already need repair - there are many stains on the ceiling, paint wear on the door frames - the TV was fixed on the 2nd day - different price information from different receptionists: on the first day it was explained that billiards costs 5/7 eur/h and the use of the ping pong table is free. On the third day we also wanted to use the ping-pong table, we were charged 5 euros an hour (it was free the previous day). Food is ok. Pool is too crowded and uncomfortable to swim in. Would not visit this hotel second time.

Nice location and view but you can get the room only at 16:00, not at 12 (as usually). And you should leave it at 12:00. My room was with a castle view but there is a road also. I didn’t find how to switch on conditioning (as well as how to switch on a mirror light in the bathroom) so it was too hot. The windows are big but the only thing I was able to do is to open the balcony door at night. The curtains are not black-out so be ready to get up early in summer, as the nights in summer are so shot! Big bed consists of 2 smaller beds with separate mattresses. The bathroom doesn’t look as tidy and repaired. Take your own shower caps as they don’t have them. The breakfast bar is not big, no bacon, small pickles, mushrooms. Boiled eggs are cold But generally the personell is friendly, the hotel is comparatively cheap and I have generally good expression about it.
