Hotel is rather old but well kept, location is good walking distance from train station. Came here for one night and it was kinda rush, as we reach rather late. It is a really quiet place, unless going for the train ride nearby, otherwise, nothing much in this area.

3min walking distance from the station, both breakfast and dinner buffet are good. The room is very clean and quiet. The staff is very polite and helpful.

We booked this hotel to take the Kurobe Gorge sightseeing train. The Japanese-style room is very comfortable, with two doors leading to the balcony, where you can enjoy the mountains, waterfalls and flowing water, but because of the two doors, the noise is negligible. The bath has an outdoor part, which is not particularly large, but it is also very comfortable, especially when it rains lightly. The rest area is large, with vending machines and comics, and some rare gashapon machines. Be sure to try them if you are interested.

The original hotel had a water outage, so I was moved to the hotel next door. After communicating with the front desk for a long time, I finally checked in. It included a 4-cent breakfast and a buffet dinner. The service was good and the environment was pretty good. It was cool to come here in the summer to escape the heat. We are on vacation, and the bathing environment is also first-rate. It will be very comfortable if you have the chance to come in winter.

It is a resort that allows you to spend a happy time with good people in a secluded place. The dinner was good and the hot spring facility was also very good.

The room I got was bad but the hotel was fine.

The exterior looks old, but the interior It was very clean and the room was spacious and beautiful. The check-out time is until 12:00, so you can take a bath after breakfast and just relax. Also, the food quality is too high. Both dinner and breakfast were buffets, but there were plenty of individual grilled menus (ajillo, tteokbokki, sukiyaki, etc.). It was very unusual to have blue seal ice cream only at night. For breakfast, we recommend the bread prepared in the store. I've been to various Yukai resorts so far, but there are many menus I've never tried. All of them are delicious and definitely top notch. By all means, if you go to Toyama, I recommend Yukai Resort Unazuki Guerande Hotel.

Very good hotel both for solo and family stays. Rooms are clean, fresh and equipped with anything you need. Buffet dinner and breakfast provides a wide variety of excellent food. However, alcohol beverages are available for additional fees. Public bath is a little bit small for such a huge hotel, but hotel staff controls the number of guests by reservation system. Another "bottleneck" is the elevator, which is quite overcrowded, especially in the morning, when all the guests are going to breakfast. Overall, impression from the hotel stay is very good. Just the location makes it quite challenging to get there. However, if you want to stay for 2-3+ days, it is absolutely OK and such an outlying location makes you fell cut-off from the rest of the world, which is very good for deep relaxation.

This hotel is a bit past its prime and well into its twilight years but it still has plenty to offer to its guests. The check-in process was efficient but being the only foreigner in a somewhat remote area proved to be a challenge for my limited Japanese. Thankfully the clerk was patient with me and we muddled through. The onsen area was nice but the outdoor bath area was tiny and oddly directly under some balconies and a straight view from the convenience store across the way. Given you are naked, it felt pretty exposed but it wasn't a deal breaker. The evening dinner and morning breakfast was buffet style (you have time slots) and offered a wide variety of food. It was slightly above average for a buffet. Check out was easily completed at a digital kiosk though you do need to pay with cash at checkout. They offer a free luggage holding service which was very nice when you want to explore the gorge after check-out.

The was absolutely no access to the internet either in the rooms or the public areas. I also was bitten by a bed bug from the extra bedding in the room cupboard. This hotel is fine for family groups and those who like regimented experiences but not for travellers wanting an more memorable onsen experience

The room was cleanly renovated, but the bed was not comfortable. Dry due to heating and suffering from noises such as wind noise. There are many broken parts - elevator, sink, shower, etc. Lack of satisfaction with meal - The atmosphere of the place is crowded and there is no really delicious food in the buffet.

The facilities are quite old, but the food is satisfactory. I also appreciated the slow check-out time.
