Kusatsu-Onsen Hotel Resort Reviews

Given that the hotel is abit old, the 3 star cleanliness is referring to the old facility at guy side onsen. It’s not maintain well and everything looks old. It’s 10mins walking distance to bus terminal and another 5-6mins to yubatake. Bonus point gives to free shuffle from/to daitokon with the very precise bus schedules. Room is clean but bear in mind, it’s not non-smoking hotel so might have chance to smell cigarette smell in room. Fortunately, our room is good. Overall we satisfy with our stay at kusatsu onsen resort.

Stayed in Western Room which is around 65 sqm. Good value for monies with much to do inside hotel and surrounding area. Free shuttle service to Yubatake. Plenty of shopping and eateries in that area. Enjoyed meals in the hotel too.

Just 3 star resort and its service. Onsen good.

Unsure if we were here in a low-season, but I feel like this place was very popular in the past and still has a lot of potential. Loved staying here. Only downside is that it's on top of a hill, which can be quite a walk if you're unfit haha.

The service attitude is very good. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is very clean and cost-effective. I highly recommend it!

The food was delicious both in the evening and in the morning. There was a free shuttle bus to the Yubatake, so it was easy to get to! We stayed as a group and it was a great experience!

I stayed here with breakfast and dinner included, and the shabu-shabu was delicious. I was able to relax at the inn.

The room is very big. The hot pot for dinner is very good with a menu. It is mainly pork and has a full variety. There is also hot pot noodles and vegetables for breakfast, which are very good with a menu. There is a pick-up bus to the bus station and Daitokan near Yubatake. There are indoor and outdoor hot spring baths for men and women.

I'm thinking of staying here again the next time I visit Kusatsu Onsen. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Yubatake. There's a bagel shop on the way. Really delicious. The building is lovely.

They offer convenient services such as a free shuttle to the Yubatake, but I think they could do a better job on the cleanliness of the hotel. The food was neither good nor bad.

It feels good, but there is no children's meal for children, which needs to be improved in the future. The children did not eat well in the morning.

The overall hygiene of the room was okay, but there were small stains on both quilts. The rooms are spacious and the hotel provides bus transportation to the center. There is a hot spring available for use in the hotel, which is basically open around the clock except cleaning time.
