Epic fail. Such a shame. Poseidon, the manager, had plenty of personality but was sorely lacking in customer service and integrity. We are a family of 4 and were shown to a tiny room, far too small, far too hot with a tiny fan which was ineffectual at night time. The mosquito net had holes in and did not cover my daughter while she slept. Our pillows seemed to be old broken sofa cushions in pillow cases and my wife had ants in hers. Our shower was broken, the light only worked sometimes and the food, although decent, was too small in portion, too large in price and often came with a good hour wait. The staff were friendly and helpful but we did not enjoy our stay. So much so that we only stayed for 1 night of the 3 we paid for. When I gave Poseidon feedback about all this he said he could not refund any of our nights but would consider helping with the food and drink bill. This is all he did. Think about it. When we checked out (Christmas Eve) he was nowhere to be found. We called him several times and he conveniently could not hear us and got cut off. We paid the bill. By chance I bumped into Poseidon the same afternoon in the supermarket on our way to another hotel. He said he would need to speak to his brother before he could help with the bill, he was simply too busy with guests to help us right now. He promised he would call me the very next day (Christmas Day) to discuss recompense. I am still waiting for the call... Maybe there are worse things happening at sea. It is worth saying that the location is decent and the communal garden area was very chilled with plenty of hidden spaces to relax. The staff were friendly and accommodating. For backpackers who don't mind discomfort at night and can find somewhere more reasonable to eat, this place is ideal. Beware! Insist on seeing your room before you pay and don't trust anything the god of the sea says.
