Very good place for family stay in Kotyo, love the place. I will choose it next time

Toothbrushes are provided for 200 yen, which is a pity, otherwise I would give it 5 points

I accidentally booked the same hotel in Kyoto and Tokyo during this trip. The one in Kyoto is newer, has a better environment, has everything I want, and has more home appliances than the rooms in Kyoto. My family and children like it very much. The hotel is not far from Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka. When checking in, the receptionist was obviously not very experienced. The procedures were very complicated. You had to scan a QR code and enter a series of things, so many that I can't remember them all. It took more than half an hour from entering the hotel to entering the room. The room was so small that there was no place to stand when the four beds were laid flat. I thought there were at least two small compartments, but it turned out to be a large bunk bed. I blame myself for not looking carefully. There were no toothbrushes or toiletries. There was no way to open the suitcase. I didn't take any photos because I really didn't want to. I just stayed there for one day.

There was only staff to guide us when we checked in. No one was found at other times. We didn't know where to get the paper towels when the room was short of them. I hope there will be clearer instructions after check-in. The apartment is large and has high hygiene standards. There is a convenience store and a yakitori restaurant downstairs for midnight snacks. Overall, it is recommended.
