KIORI Exec Gojo

The hotel was very clean and the staff were all very friendly. However, on the first day, the cleaning staff took our room key, which we had left in the room, which was quite strange. Also, there's only one washing machine in the entire hotel, which is a bit unusual.

The hotel offers laundry service where you can pay with coins or credit card! This time I didn't purchase breakfast, but I was still able to use the complimentary coffee machine in the breakfast area! The front desk staff speak English and Mandarin! When checking out, I even borrowed a scale to weigh my luggage to see if it was overweight.

The hotel itself isn't bad, but the room doesn't have a proper window; it's frosted, and when you open it, you just see the wall of the next building. This makes the room very dark, and you can't even tell what the weather is like outside – it's awful. Also, the room itself isn't very big. However, the staff is very friendly and helped me shift my booking. It's very clean, and they can clean the room every day upon request. The complimentary coffee and matcha are delicious. The location is quite convenient, but honestly, it's probably better to stay near the train station.

The location isn't ideal; it's about a 15-minute walk from the station and 8-10 minutes from the supermarket. However, the room is genuinely spacious, allowing you to fully open your suitcase, and it's very clean. The free coffee is also quite good.

The hotel location is great, about a 15-20 minute walk to Kyoto Station. There are also convenience stores nearby and a bus stop right in front. My only minor complaint is that there isn't a crosswalk directly in front of the hotel.

The room was generally clean and comfortable. It's located near the Horikawa Gojo bus stop, and it's not far to Kyoto Station by bus. The area is quite quiet at night, and there's a self-service laundry a short walk away. Overall, it was a good experience.
