Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shijo

The hotel is clean and tidy, and features a complimentary large public bath. There are two large supermarkets and local Japanese restaurants right outside the door. Buses to various attractions are also nearby, and shopping is very convenient. It's a great choice for accommodation.

The room is very spacious, about a 10-minute walk from the subway station. Check-out was very convenient, and they also have hot spring baths. There are plenty of dining options nearby, located right near the end of the busiest area of Shijo.

The hotel is located in a residential area, but it's actually quite convenient. You can take bus route 50 from Kyoto Station and it drops you off directly at the hotel entrance. Buses are readily available to go anywhere, which is very handy. The hotel itself is also very comfortable, with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Highly recommended!

This Mitsui hotel is absolutely amazing! The location is fantastic—within easy walking distance of the shopping district, which is great if you like exploring on foot. If you're feeling lazy, buses are super convenient too! There's a bus stop right outside the entrance, or you can walk two minutes to the intersection for even more routes. The rooms were spotless, cleaned daily, and restocked with complimentary bottled water. The staff were all incredibly nice—special shoutouts to the long-haired concierge lady who helped with umbrellas and the tall Caucasian gentleman at the front desk. When my friend got hurt, they promptly brought us band-aids, and they also have umbrellas to borrow on rainy days! The lobby and the Japanese garden are gorgeous, and best of all, our room had a view of Kyoto Tower! One small suggestion: it would be great if the hotel installed a coin-change machine. The laundromat only takes 100-yen coins, and since the front desk ran out of change, we had to go buy something nearby just to break our money.

Whenever I visit Japan, I always book with either the Daiwa or Mitsui hotel groups. They consistently deliver on hygiene, ambiance, and convenient locations. This particular hotel is near Shijo Karasuma, with bus stops right outside, making it easy to get to all the attractions. Plus, there's a beloved cafe nearby. The room wasn't cramped, and the cleanliness was impeccable. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and best of all, there's a Life supermarket, which was incredibly convenient for picking up food. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Location: Very convenient for getting around, with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Cleanliness and Facilities: The facilities are complete, and the hygiene is excellent. I'm very satisfied. Hotel Service: The front desk staff are warm and polite, and maintenance requests are handled promptly. My stay was very pleasant.
