Pros: easily accessible to many places and eateries.
Cons: the room is small, the breakfast is repetitive as we were staying there for 5 days.

The rooms are clean and we have no issues checking in the hotel even though we reached around 11pm.

Hotel is gorgeous but located quite a walking distance from the train/bus station. Staff were very hospitable, tentative and helpful with directions. Theres limited washer/ dryers so it might be a challenge to get washing done.

- wanted extra money for earlier check in per 30min, no window to open in the room

Our three nights stay was very pleasant. Room is comfortable size and close to stations and busy street. Yet still in a quiet neighborhood. Staff is very friendly. Feel very welcomed.

Japanese rooms are generally not big. This one seems to be about 20 square meters, very Japanese style, small double bed, sofa and coffee table. It was clean, the facilities were new, and the breakfast was delicious.
There was a large public bath and the amenities were great.
