Brand New hotel, Friendly and Nice hotel staffs. Feel so warm always.

The price is very expensive The location is good but the bedsheet and mattress are little bit smelly and the room has dusty smell

Excellent stay

You don't get too many choices for onsen hotel in Arashiyama (嵐山). Able to book this one during peak time (as 3-Nov is Japan public holiday), my room has little onsen like bathtub which is very nice. The dinner was extremely beautiful and delicate. Only the onsen is average and it's indoor only. It's right next to the famous Togetsukyō (渡月橋) and walking distance to most of the tourist spots in Arashiyama.

Everything is good, the only thing I think could be better is about the check in and out time, it can only check in at 4pm and you have to check out at 10am, you don't really have 24hrs for the stay, they do have public hotspring, however we don't really have enough time to enjoy as the dinner is provided by other restaurant which is not inside the hotel. The meal provided is kinda not my expectation. In general the room is great, service is good, but not nearby convenient store and you cannot get any food if you are hungry at night.

The hotel only includes breakfast for more than 5,000 per night, but the room is very, very, very small, only 14 square meters, the whole room is the size of the photo, it is a bit crowded for three people to live in, it is incredible to charge this price. But the service is indeed good. However, compared with the nearby Lanyue, it is still far behind, whether it is the size of the room, the facilities, or the hot spring (indoor), I am not satisfied. Ctrip ranks this hotel as the first hot spring hotel, which is biased and misleading to consumers. Ctrip should also be responsible for giving such a ranking.

The Togetsutei Hotel is right next to the Togetsutei Bridge. You can see the Togetsutei sign on the bridge after walking across the Togetsutei Bridge from the commercial street. You can feel the sense of historical sedimentation from a distance. The hotel facilities are old, but well maintained. One of our rooms is a private bath suite with a semi-terrace, which is unexpectedly beautiful and the room I am most satisfied with on this trip. The kaiseki dinner was a little simpler and not as rich as I expected, which is a bit regrettable, but everything else is perfect.

There are relatively few hotel options in Arashiyama. It is 800 meters walk to the subway. The breakfast is simple but of good quality. The room is relatively new. Overall, it is very good, a little bit expensive

This stay was completely different from the experience nine years ago. The facilities remained the same, but the food was inferior and the service was average.

The room is great. There is also a private bath. The meal is also great. The experience is great. The waiter is very nice. The hotel is in a great location. The center is right outside. You can get to the hotel right after getting off the rafting. There are also yukatas for taking photos.
