Very helpful when book restaurants for us. highly recommended.

The hotel is nested in a quiet corner, within walking distance of Sagaogurayama Tabuchiyamacho. Im however a bit disappointed with the limited facilites it offered when compared to the price we paid. We stayed in the Tsukinone Twin Room which is on the third floor of the building. The view is pleasant. The room is of decent size. Yet there were no public onsens. We need to pay YEN5000 for 45 minutes and there are only 2 private onsens. For more luxurious rooms with private onsen, the one I visited was on the ground level with no views as it were by the pathway to the reception , separated by wooden planks. We paid around Yen5000 for the breakfast in the hotel, Both western and japanese breakfasts were offered. We tried both. It is of standard. The 4 different juices presented on the top of the bento box was impressive. The vaccinity is pleasant. We could walk to the train station, the tourist rown area , the nearby parks and the world heritage sites. Nice area .

The location is the best in Arashiyama. It sits right next to Katsura River. We enjoy the welcome drink with a very good view of the river. The food is excellent, and staffs are very friendly and helpful.

A very good stay experience. The location is very good, very close to the various attractions in Arashiyama, about 10 minutes on foot, quiet in the bustling city. But it takes more than 10 minutes to walk to the station, etc. If you are carrying luggage, it is still a bit inconvenient, you can take a taxi. Because the red leaf season is very expensive, we booked a basic room type, which was allocated on the 2nd floor, but the view from the balcony is very good, with red leaves and Arashiyama in the distance. The room is quite satisfactory, and the luxury hotel is average. The service feels very individual. The front desk reception we just checked in was very polite and very good. When we checked out, we felt just so-so, a little arrogant. The hotel is not big, but the landscaping is beautiful, one step at a time. Especially the small courtyard opposite the restaurant, it is very enjoyable to sit on the bed during breakfast, and there are two black cats in the yard. We took a lot of satisfactory photos in the hotel, the key point is that there is no one! As for additional services, since our room did not have a bath, we tried the private baths in the hotel. There are two private baths next to each other. The bamboo forest environment is very good. I personally recommend the one inside. However, you need to make an appointment in advance, and the service fee is more than RMB 200. Before leaving, I asked the hotel to help reserve a taxi from Kyoto Station, which cost about RMB 200, which was very convenient for catching the plane.

I have been to Japan many times, but this is my first time to experience a traditional Japanese hotel. I took the train to Arashiyama Station and walked all the way to the hotel to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The hotel is also full of beautiful and exquisite scenery. The staff are very enthusiastic, and the afternoon tea and breakfast experience is also very good. When we left, there was a car to take us to Kyoto Station. I will choose this place next time I go to Arashiyama!

The hotel is in a great location and the service attitude is good. Complain about the breakfast. I strongly do not recommend choosing a hotel for breakfast. The hotel offers two set breakfast options: Japanese breakfast and European breakfast. I tried both. The Japanese set is a bento 🍱, with not much content. The main dish is fried salmon, which is about 120% done; the European set is a drink + bread + self-selection (choose omelet), the omelet is five points hot and cold. There is no other food for self-selection, and you have to pay for it when you order.

The hotel garden is very good, very Japanese style garden. There are views everywhere. The restaurant's Japanese set menu is very unique and lasts for 2 hours. Very quiet. If there are many people, he also has a restaurant that can seat about 10 people and has a nice view.

The location and environment are first-class, the hot springs are great, and the service is Japanese. However, it is surprising that no one helps with luggage when entering or leaving. Considering the price, you can just experience it. The cost performance is average
