M's Hotel Gojo Naginatagiri Reviews

Our room is for 3 people so it is much more huge. It’s near Kyoto station. You can walk and arrive in the hotel around 10 minutes. The location is close to any tourist spot. There are great views and restaurants outside.

We really enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend it to others. The wifi was reliable, the location was close to the subway, only downside of this hotel was not receiving much information about the check in process until emailing them to ask. This would be difficult for those without wifi/ access to a Japanese phone number. It would have been helpful if the hotel provided the entrance code to get into the hotel because without internet you wouldn’t really be able to get in. We saw another couple go through this issue. Overall, a good experience. The room is small but enough.

It is about 2 kilometers walk from Shinkansen Kyoto Station. The price/performance ratio is very high. There is no room card. After checking in, a password paper is provided, which contains the room password and the door access password. The soundproofing is not very good, but the environment in the room is good. There is a luggage storage area at the front desk, but no care service is provided (there is a luggage storage area next to the front desk, and you can buy a chain lock to lock the suitcase on the shelf by yourself). If there are valuables in the suitcase, it is not recommended to leave it at the front desk. You can store it at a nearby subway station for 400 yen a day.

The room was very satisfactory, much better than expected, especially after reading some bad reviews, I was a little nervous, but the result was beyond my expectations. The location is good, quiet in a busy city, 200-300 meters away from the Gomaru subway station and bus station, convenient to go anywhere. The bedding is comfortable, the room and bathroom are clean and new, but I live on the first floor, and the window can only be opened a crack... The overall experience is good!

Check-in is self-service, there is a machine there, with Chinese. When I went there, a waiter just came back to help.

Convenient to travel and strategically located. The room is not big, but it has everything it needs. The attitude of the service staff is acceptable. The lady at the front desk does not speak Chinese, but communication is OK and self-service is available.

The service was good and the interior of the hotel was clean. It was located within walking distance from Gojo Station in Kyoto, and there was a convenience store right next to the hotel, so it was convenient to use.
