Very convenient for connecting and surrounded by shopping malls. Had a very pleasant stay there. My room was right next to Shinkansen track. No noise and great view for a train enthusiast.

Location of the Hotel is great . The hotel is right below the Keihan Railway. Room not so big but enough for two large luggage. My negative experience was the male front staff. We are not very clear about the new property tax.and need him to explained more but he just keep quite like we are a nasty customer. But lucky he colleague come over to solved the issue.

Lovely hotel with ideal location in KYOTO station. Staff very helpful and welcome drink provided (juice/tea). If getting taxi have the telephone number of your destination as they appear to use this with their sat nav. Shopping mall across the street and lots of eateries in the station. Highly recommend. Activity close by: Maiko Experience at Shiki - highly recommend.

Best stay in Kyoto, staffs are all so nice & welcoming. Morning breakfast is super good, with whole day coffee and best matcha serving from the machine! Night time they serve ramen, ice cream and drinks. All guest dress in their onsen clothes walked around, took turns to enjoy the massage chair, sit around and chat. What a good experience! Laundry is free!! dryer costs about 100yen for 20mins, 200yen for 40mins, what a deal!

Been to Japan 10 times and never have I experienced such rude receptionists. 1) They never greet you when you walk by 2) I ask the lady (Mizuki) at the front desk to help me with a Japanese form to send my luggage to Tokio. Her answer was: you can google it. Zero effort to help me. I also needed help to go the hospital in the night with my sick baby and they send me to a hospital that was closed. It really was a HORROR experience. It left me with a really bad taste about Japan.
