Hotel Muso Reviews

First of all, Wuxiang Hotel is a B&B with more than ten rooms, so there is no lounge, no attached restaurant, and no 24-hour front desk. It is on a small road near Shijo Kawaramachi and is within walking distance of Takashimaya Daimaru Department Store. Taxis are very small and you will not know the rentals at the door, and the service is not very enthusiastic in advance. The advantages of checking in are that the room is larger than the display area and the double bathtub can relieve the fatigue of the day. The facilities are new and hygienic and clean, but the design is not very professional. The sofa is too dark and the air conditioner makes a lot of noise. The blinds do not block the light at all, which will wake people up early. For breakfast, they said the same type of tomoya was served in the room. The staff brought it to the room and put it away in sequence. Although it was simple and the combination was okay, I handed over a paper bag. The extremely sweet red bean bread, potato chips and mashed potatoes. The matcha latte sugar I chose was not put separately. It's very sweet. I don't understand the protein-free and super high sugar content of this breakfast. Maybe I stayed at the cheap Higashiyama Tokyu Hotel the day before yesterday. The breakfast quality was very good. It had Kuroge Wagyu beef. The contrast was too strong. In summary, the room was good and the breakfast was a disaster.

Very good experience. The person who checked in spoke very good English and spoke very clearly. The hotel is clean and sanitary. The hot dogs for breakfast are particularly delicious and crispy. The hotel is very quiet. The toiletries used are Martin Margiela. Like Kyoto very much Will stay again next time

This hotel is really recommended. The location is very convenient and the price/performance ratio is unbeatable. All the drinks in the refrigerator are free. Breakfast will also be delivered to the room. The service is great!

There is no way not to get perfect marks! ! The room is large and the facilities are complete! Very cleanand comfortable! When checking in, the staff patiently introduced all the facilities and served breakfast every morning. Although it was just a simple breakfast, the service was very attentive. It was my most unforgettable hotel in Kansai!

정말 최고중의 최고였습니다. 교토에 살면서 여러호텔을 가봤지만 이가격에 5성급호텔부럽지않습니다. 일단 직원들이 너무친절했으며, 룸컨디션또한 매우 청결했습니다. 또 어매니티와 각종 서비스들 또한 최고였습니다. 제 지인들이 교토애놀러온다면 무조건 이호텔을 추천할정도로 만족스러웠습니다. 저는 조만간 다시가보려합니다! 다들 경험해보시길 강력히 추천드려요^^

This was the best hotel we stayed at in Japan. Great location in a quiet street, massive room with well-appointed kitchenette and luxury bathroom with loads of amenities, free drinks incl beer, whisky, and gourmet sodas in the fridge (!) Our adult children stayed in the screened-off tatami area which gave privacy. Free breakfast was tasty and a nice touch. The staff were delightful and the location very convenient. 7-11 very close too. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the Muso hotel for three nights with my husband and my adult daughter in the family unit. We were visiting our daughter, who lives in Osaka, Japan, and had a beautiful stay at this hotel. The place is unbelievable. It's in the very heart of Kyoto; it has five-star amenities, and the price is very reasonable. The location is right in the middle of everything, on a quiet, picturesque street. The unit was gorgeous, with two rooms, a nice sitting area, and a kitchenette. Ito, the customer service person, was incredibly helpful and nice. Good English, as well. Later, we met the supervisor, who was very pleasant and helpful. They have a rooftop place for breakfast (which is very satisfying) and coffee with a nice view of Kyoto. I'm traveling to Japan in March and have already booked a room for me and my daughter in the Muse Hotel. I highly recommend the place to anybody! It feels like a real home in the heart of Kyoto.

Hotel Muso is an exceptional hotel. We were travelling with our two adult children and were in the Premium King room on the top floor. There was plenty of room for all of us and it was very convenient that the toilet room is separate from the shower/bath room. The room is decorated with very nice furniture and finishes. It feels like a 5 star resort. The manager and staff really made us feel special and made sure our stay was perfect. They even stock the refrigerator every day with complimentary beverages. The breakfast and coffee on the rooftop deck was wonderful. This is our favorite hotel in Japan and will be where we stay anytime we are in Kyoto.
