It was so enjoyable to stay here. There is a traditional rekan with all attributes to feel really Japanese culture. The hotel is located in quite area, around 15 minutes from Kyoto station. The administration explained all the rules that you should know. It has very thin walls so it’s possible to hear the neighbors, but for one night it was pretty ok. There is shower, toilet and sink in the room. Also teapot, teabags and hair dryer, so it’s very comfortable to live here. I appreciate to stay in such a hotel, thanks for great experience.

Nice experience to sleep on the " ground" like traditional Japanese people did in early days

This ryokan was really nice because it had the feel of a traditional Japanese house. The shower booth was a bit narrow, but there was no major inconvenience in showering.

Too small, disappointing for children. The Japanese-style tatami turns out to be a sleeping mat on the floor.

The sound insulation of the room is not very good, the floor bed is okay, not recommended for those who are not used to sleeping on hard beds
