Rooms: Small and modest, but comfortable. The beds are Japanese-style, and the bathtub is deep. The water takes a few minutes to warm up. Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value

Room was very small for 3. Did not like their housekeeping rule of cleaning the room every 3 days when we were there for 4 nights. Other than that, the staff was friendly.

Good hotel to stay. And clean.

The room was very clean and spacious. It was a 5-minute walk to Sanjo Shopping Street and the nearest station was Nijo Castle. I was so happy to see the World Heritage site of Nijo Castle right in front of me when I left the station. I recommend it.

The hotel is in a small alley, so you have to walk a long way to take the bus. Although it is a self-service check-in, there are actually waiters on call and there is also a smoking room, which is very convenient!

I booked the hotel because they confirmed early check-in with an extra charge. After a night on the road, my child and I arrived at the hotel. At the reception desk a young man came out to us and said that check-in was impossible. I didn’t speak English, we communicated through a translator. After a long conversation, he said that we could check in at three o’clock in the afternoon; we arrived at 7.30, tired. It’s +35 outside, there’s no way to wash or change clothes. We went to look for a cafe, had breakfast and decided to call the hotel again. The girl again confirmed that it was possible to check in. As a result, we got a room at 12.00, but could have checked in at 10.00. We spent an extra 2 hours. There are no complaints about the room, but the reception staff spoils everything. The location is good, the room is clean.

I stayed here twice before and thought it was okay. I booked four nights this time, but this time it was a terrible experience! On the first night, two men in the next room kept making loud noises, crying and quarreling. It was still early, so I could bear it. At 2 a.m., not only did they not stop, but they became louder and louder. I couldn't stand it anymore and contacted the front desk. But the front desk lady leaned over to listen and didn't dare to get close. She said she called the company to ask someone to solve it. I went back to the room. The noise continued until after 3 a.m., and the hotel did not take any measures, except for one sentence: Sorry! The next morning, the next room started cleaning, and the ding ding dong dong was so loud that it was almost like an earthquake... It was like this for several nights, and I had no energy during the day. I was really fed up...

I stayed here with my family. The bed was big and clean, which was nice.

The early check-in service was so bad I would like a refund if possible.
