Hotel was located within walking distance to Namba station and was located nearby other hotels. Area was brightly lit and felt safe at night. Hotel had a lobby area for dining and also just to relax before returning to your room. The only downside was that the room carpet and lift was a little dirty

The hotel is near the JR Kyoto station, it’s easy to find the hotel, just few mins walk from station. The hotel is quite new and clean, you can take necessities that you need near the reception. Free drinks of water and tea are available.

The capsule is bigger than I thought actually and quite comfortable, the bathrooms and toilets are new and surprisingly clean. The common area are chill and I made some friends, for this price at this highest season of the year, I believe it’s a great deal.

Very nice staff and service only problem check in is at 3 pm and I found some hair in the bathroom

Good location. About 3 min walking distance to Kyoto station, where you may easily take JR or Kintetsu train. There is also a convenient shop right at the corner of the street. Staff are friendly. There is also free flow welcome drinks such as juice and tea, perfect for a break after a long days journey.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during national holidays. The hotel was packed, way too many people. The bed size was ok , expected smaller one. The breakfast is Japanese style , quite good. Location is close to Kyoto Railway Station which is convenient for the people traveling without a car.

Really new and clean hotel within very short walking distance to Kyoto Station. A little small if you’re a couple but for solo travellers it is ideal. Welcome drink was a cool addition to my stay too. Would come back again to stay for sure.

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. The experience is not as good as before. Group of travellers gathered in the lobby area drinking and chatting. Don’t feel good at all. Room is nice and clean.

Location was exceptional - just 5-10min walk from Kyoto Station. The room was spacious and clean. Very well-lit as well so great for ladies to do make up :) Breakfast spread was decent as well and would definitely return to this hotel again.

Hotel is super central - within a few minutes walk to JR Kyoto station and a 7/11 about two mins walk away. My main goal was to do day trips from Kyoto so this was perfect. It is a bit cramped but you can slide your luggage under the bed. The hotel chain offers really comfortable pillows (which you can also buy). The specific room type had no bathroom, with the shower being near the entrance and the sink situated close to the bed. I personally didn’t mind this but might be something to be aware of.

absolutely loved my stay at ref kyoto! the room was so aesthetic and clean, there was space for my luggage and the location was excellent - so close to kyoto station! would definitely be staying here on my next visit to kyoto.
